age calculation[edit]

I noticed you are adding ages to various pages. There is a template that will automatically calculate age, which is good since the page will not require updating all the time. The format is {{birth date and age|year|month|day}}. For example, see this template as applied to John Moyer. Cheers, -- Flyguy649 talk 04:41, 11 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Parasite[edit]

Wikipedia is not crystal ball. We will not allow editing by pure speculation, we need solid facts —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dude527 (talkcontribs) 04:09, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Parasite Vandalism[edit]

Thing is, you're breaking Wikipedia rules.

Wikipedia is reference-based. Which means you must cite sources for everything you find. If you fail to cite sources, and, mind you, I haven't even found any when I googled it, your information will be removed. You stated that a b-side "rumored to be called Parasite" will be on the Inside the Fire single. If it's there, it doesn't belong in the Indestructible page, it belongs in the Inside the Fire page. You have no references, nothing stating it was recorded at the same time as the other Indestructible songs, therefore, your information cannot be contributed. I remind you, Wikipedia is not WP:NOTCRYSTAL, meaning you can't place rumors, without facts. Fan speculation has no place. I know you intend good, but, until there's an official announcement that Parasite is indeed an Indestructible b-side, it will continue to be deleted, and if you continue to replace it, I will report you for vandalism. I reported the guy earlier for vandalism, for not citing sources, and he was warned by admin that if he replaced Parasite in the list, without a citing, he would be banned. I'm not afraid to do so to you. Good day. Dude527 (talk) 04:17, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Reply to 'Please'[edit]

Why couldn't you have left it the way it was when there was a source?Disturbed92893 (talk • contribs) 04:12, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

I couldn't even view the source, literally half of the page was deleted. Just link me the source here, and I'll check it out... and if it's that whole ordering the track online page, I've seen it, it's not a reliable source, and it does not prove it's on Indestructible. Dude527 (talk) 04:31, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

Dude527 (talk) 04:35, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

...More Continuation[edit]

Yes, but you have to understand that rumors have no place on Wikipedia, therefore, we cannot list them. Go read the regulations. A YouTube video is not sufficient citing, that's in the rules. We must wait until Disturbed themselves states it in an interview, or on their website. I know you intend well, but we have to stick to regulations. Dude527 (talk) 04:40, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

BSide[edit]

We already have it cited that there are 3 b-sides total. People will have to look at that, but just because people think that Parasite is the third b-side, does not mean we can list it. I'm sure people can put 2+2 together when they see "15 songs total, only 12 to make it on the album," and then only 2 songs in the b-side section. Now please stop re-adding Parasite... There's no official announcements that it was recorded with Indestructible. If it's not Indestructible-related, then it has no place in that article. The article already says there's another b-side to appear, but we can't put "It is thought to be called Parasite" or anything like that because that's against the rules of Wikipedia. Dude527 (talk) 04:46, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You've done it again[edit]

I've given fair enough warning, I even got someone who was higher in the chain of command to post a tag for me, but you broke the rule. I'd say I've given you a level 4 warning, which means I could report you for vandalism, but I've decided to be nice. If you replace Parasite on the Indestructible page, I will see to it that you are banned. You cannot just take off a user notice tag, and go and outright break the rules of Wikipedia. This is your final warning. Dude527 (talk) 20:50, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disturbed92893[edit]

Run was confirmed as a b-side on the official website, that has a reference in the article. Midlife Crisis was confirmed to be included as a b-side in an interview with a band member. That has a reference in the article. Parasite was found on some obscure website as a bonus track to the single "Inside the Fire", with nothing saying it's a b-side to Indestructible, and nothing confirming when it was recorded.

That means it has no proof, nothing official, only fan speculation, thanks to Ravensclaw.

Dude527 (talk) 22:07, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You've been warned enough, now it gets serious[edit]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits, such as the one you made to Indestructible (Disturbed album).
Any further vandalism will result in your being blocked from editing Wikipedia. J.delanoygabsadds 23:52, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

RE:Fine[edit]

Wikipedia can IP block you, which would mean you couldn't make a new account. Just so you know. Dude527 (talk) 01:55, 17 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

To add to that, read WP:PROTECT and WP:RANGEBLOCK. Seriously, the good guys here hold all the cards. All of them. J.delanoygabsadds 02:05, 17 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No, there's something YOU don't get. It doesn't say ANYWHERE that Parasite is a b-side to Indestructible, or even Inside the Fire for that matter. It's a song, that comes on a single for another song, we don't when it was recorded, what it was recorded for, or why. Until we know, we just can't list it. Wikipedia is a fact-based encyclopedia (Aren't they all?) meaning no speculation can be involved, we need references for everything. I would very much like to add "Parasite" to the b-side list, but we can't until we know for sure. Do you understand that? This isn't a personal campaign against you, I'm not trying to screw anything up, I'm just sticking to sites rules and regulations. Good day to you. Dude527 (talk) 02:05, 17 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Indestructible Single[edit]

Where are you getting this "Indestructible is the third single" crap? You provided no references, so I removed it. Further evidence that it is false, is that I googled it, I can't find it anywhere. iTunes, nothing. Amazon, nothing. Disturbed's official website, nothing. Official MySpace, nothing. Don't replace it unless you have a solid reference. dude527 (talk) 04:08, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That chart is for the album, not the song. If the song was a single, it'd be available as a single on iTunes, Amazon, etc, and it would be on the official MySpace and website. It's not official. dude527 (talk) 04:11, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
They announced Perfect Insanity as their next single on their official site. Also, Indestructible has not gotten radio play, and this guy hasn't provided any references. I wouldn't trust it. Also, the song Parasite is available on the Japanese import version of Indestructible. And the song "Forsaken" is not a Disturbed b-side, as Disturbed had nothing to do with it. Draiman was invited to provide vocals, but Disturbed didn't write the music, or even play it. It wasn't recorded during an album recording session, and it wasn't on any albums or compilations, only the Queen of the Damned soundtrack. I'll repeat this Disturbed did not perform Forsaken. dude527 (talk) 04:21, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
This is how it went down. Jonathan wrote the songs, as he was hired by the directors to do. But he then finds out he can't perform them because his contract with Sony interferes. So he has to hire different vocalists to perform his songs, even though the music was already recorded. You want proof? Here is Jonathan's version of Forsaken, recorded before David's. Notice that it's the exact EXACT same music, no differences. In other words, all they did was scrap the vocal tracks Jonathan already made, and had other vocalists sing them, then track them over the already prepared music.dude527 (talk) 04:29, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The music tracks are the exact same. And Midlife Crisis wasn't a demo, it was part a tribute performed by Disturbed for Faith No More, go look it up, it's been stated. We know that Loading the Weapon was written then because it's also been stated in interviews. And Indestructible is NOT the newest single, I repeat, NOT the newest single, it has NOT been stated anywhere, there are NOT places where it's for sale as a single. dude527 (talk) 04:41, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Another thing for you; Google "david draiman doing forsaken", and fact, I'll do it for you. David Draiman search. Now tell me where you see "Disturbed doing Forsaken". Disturbed doing Forsaken. About equal amounts right? Difference is, Jonathan explained before, that he had SINGERS come in and do these songs for him, not BANDS. dude527 (talk) 04:49, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Also, on iTunes, it says "Song: Forsaken, Artist: David Draiman" dude527 (talk) 04:50, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
