Some cookies to welcome you!

Welcome to Wikipedia, Ef80! I am Marek69 and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

O.T.T.[edit]

Thanks for this edit. We had a discussion about it on the talk page, and couldn't figure out what the show was. I'm surprised we didn't remove it from the article. Now we know! --A Knight Who Says Ni (talk) 14:31, 11 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Why did Ef80 go red?[edit]

Why is there no user for Ef80. What happened? פשוט pashute ♫ (talk) 13:28, 3 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

That's because I've never bothered setting up a user page. --Ef80 (talk) 13:49, 3 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Finally got around to creating one today, though there's not much on it. --Ef80 (talk) 21:16, 13 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Poundland[edit]

Just to let you know that I decided to go through a community reassessment on the poundland article. That way other reviewers can comment on the suitability. You can find the page at Wikipedia:Good article reassessment/Poundland/1 if you want to follow it or comment. AIRcorn (talk) 09:10, 1 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the heads up. I agree that the GA status is questionable. --Ef80 (talk) 11:02, 1 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Comic sans[edit]

I resisted mentioning it myself - but it was hard! All the best, Rich Farmbrough, 02:08, 4 April 2014 (UTC).[reply]

Celeb pages[edit]

Hi

You mentioned on the Cheryl Cole page that nothing can be done about these promo sites. It has to be. But "how?" is the question. Cheers Wythy (talk) 13:41, 30 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Simultaneous Substitution[edit]

You commented on the talk page two years ago. As you can see, things got interesting again. Unlike most democratic nations, Canada has restricted television content for decades, banning most foreign networks from distribution. Sorry the topic cannot be fully discussed. NOTHOWTO is selective; the Wikipedia page for cancer discusses prevention and treatment.70.71.6.57 (talk) 12:56, 17 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Ef80, I restored your post. English is not my first language, and I had no idea that "slag" in British English can mean "slut". So you enlightened me, thank you :-) 85.193.252.19 (talk) 01:36, 4 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for that, it's good to have some support. The reverting editor seems to have a history of that sort of behaviour. --Ef80 (talk) 11:33, 4 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
And here is a good example of that editor behavior. Of course my edit may be wrong, but I counted on something more than the one word explanation. Maybe I should not treat Wikipedia too seriously? 85.193.252.19 (talk) 23:09, 8 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
