Hi Farid! Thanks first of all for your interesting contributions on esoteric subjects, in all senses of the word. May I ask you, however, the source of (apparently yours) information, according to which others people than Ortiz, Chericcoti and Bertani were condemned after the Trial of the thirty? Indeed, your creation of the article prompted me to read again this chapter from Jean Maitron, so I've included a bit of info. Cheers! Hi again! No, no pictures of the trial, you should have a look on the Internet (google in French procès des trente) and, if you find one, use the Template:Historic fur. Tazmaniacs (talk) 14:40, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I noticed you removed my note that there wasn't information on whether Ivan Aguéli was Maliki, and simply stated he was. Are you sure? I couldn't find any information on this. As far as I know, it's perfectly possible Aguéli didn't follow an specific Maddhab, but rather mixed practices from more than one. Could you please provide a source, or mention which one of the already provided references explicit this detail?

In the meantime, I've added a {{fact}} to that infobox line. -- alexgieg (talk) 01:41, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for replying. The information you provide is indeed indicative that he was a Maliki, there's little doubt about it. I think it's just a matter of adding the information as a footnote. In fact, what you wrote is surely much more informative for such a purpose than my original footnote was, so I'll replace the {{fact}} link with it.
By the way: if Aguéli's master's father was such an important person, I think an article on him would be a very good thing! I searched for "Ilaysh" and the only mention to this name is Aguéli's article itself. Would you have enough information to create such an article, even if it's more a stub than a proper article? If you do, please do so. The more info, the better, and it would be good to link back from the new footnote. -- alexgieg (talk) 01:47, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
