Festivus[edit]

Hi. I see you have a strong interest in the subject of Festivus. Why not... But I think it would really be best to expand the Festivus page rather than break the existing redirects. The Festivus page is quite short and you can probably expand it quite a bit without creating multiple short subarticles. Cheers, Pascal.Tesson 01:08, 27 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

An Automated Message from HagermanBot[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! HagermanBot 00:17, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Feats-O-Strength. An automated process has found and will an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, and thus is being used under fair use that is in your userspace. The image (Image:Missingno screenshot.png) was found at the following location: User:Feats-O-Strength. This image or media will be removed per criterion number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media will be replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. This does not necessarily mean that the image is being deleted, or that the image is being removed from other pages. It is only being removed from the page mentioned above. All mainspace instances of this image will not be affected Please find a free image or media to replace it with, and or remove the image from your userspace. A tag has been placed on Pule, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect to a user page from the main/article space. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Calton | Talk 22:48, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Pule, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as articles for deletion. If you can indicate how Pule is different from the previously posted material, or if you can indicate why this article should not be deleted, I advise you to place the template {{hangon}} underneath the other template on the article, and also put a note on Talk:Pule saying why this article should stay. An admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 4 under General criteria. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. We welcome your help in trying to improve Wikipedia, and we request you to follow these instructions. Calton | Talk 13:29, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your user page[edit]

I can have the content in my own user page if I want!

That would be, "No, you can't". See here. --Calton | Talk 14:52, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oh, come ON! The articles get deleted for no good reason, and all my hard work goes down the drain and I can't keep the content anywhere?!?! HOW IS THAT FAIR?!?! Feats-O-Strength 15:09, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Fair? I'm sorry, what does "fairness" have to do with anything? As for "no good reason", there are certainly several listed here. As for "keeping the content", that's what your computer has a hard drive for. --Calton | Talk 15:30, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Garfield[edit]

I think him changing his name was a one-shot gag. It has not been mentioned in any other media about Garfield, including the strips after it. Knowing this shouldn't it be mentioned as a one-shot gag on the page? 99.230.152.143 00:27, 26 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Repost of Pule (Holiday)[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Pule (Holiday), by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Pule (Holiday) was previously deleted as a result of an articles for deletion (or another XfD)

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Pule (Holiday), please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. CSDWarnBot 02:01, 7 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The article has been deleted per Wikipedia:Deletion policy. If you have an objection to the deletion discussion that took place at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Pule (2nd nomination), go to Wikipedia:Deletion review. Also, when you submitted Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Pule (Holiday), you proved that you're willing to disrupt Wikipedia to make a point. --Elkman (Elkspeak) 04:15, 7 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Let me explain this with more detail than I really have time to research:
I think you know quite well why the article was deleted, and why several reposts of the article were deleted. You're just pretending to be naive in this matter.
Wikipedia is not a game or a joke. It is an encyclopedia. If you are only here to repost deleted content, and to keep going on and on and on about Pule, you don't belong here. If you make one more edit related to the Pule holiday, you will be blocked. I won't spend any more time explaining it to you. --Elkman (Elkspeak) 16:57, 7 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, alright, I get the picture, no more Pule edits. You have my word, reluctant as it is. Huh 17:31, 7 November 2007 (UTC) Oh, and by the way, I now know what Deck the Sock Puppet means. I did NOT create the account Deck the Hallz! Huh 17:33, 7 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

blocked[edit]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for For creating and using the sockpuppet User:Deck the Hallz in an attempt to influence the result of Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Pule (Holiday)/archive1 Gnangarra 08:40, 8 November 2007 (UTC). Please stop. You're welcome to make useful contributions after the block expires. Request reason:

So one person agrees with me, who just happens to be new, and you automatically accuse me of making him up. I'm appalled. I did not create the user Deck the Hallz. Not only do I feel I should be unblocked, but I think you owe HIM an apology as well. Someone new happens to agree with an admittedly not-so-popular opinion and is automatically accused of being a sockpuppet. Disgraceful.

Decline reason:

A brand new user showing up to the FAC ten minutes after you created it to !vote support on a clearly not-promotable article? I'm sorry, but assuming good faith is not a free pass to nullify the blatantly obvious. Daniel 11:11, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
PS: This seals the deal. Daniel 11:29, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

You are kidding me, aren't you? Basing your refusal to lift my block on the actions of another user? You're still going with this sockpuppet nonsense? I will state now, for what I hope to have to be the final time, I DID NOT CREATE DECK THE HALLZ! Also, he's blocked indefinitely for being at the wrong place at the wrong time. For shame. I thought Wikipedia had more sense than this. Huh 11:48, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If only he hadn't mentioned that he was new on his userpage. 99.230.152.143 00:47, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What's wrong with him being new? Huh 11:36, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If Deck the Hallz (talk · contribs) is actually a different user, he should be making his case on his own user talk page, not by proxy here. Now stop going on about Pule and your "friend" Deck the Hallz. You are really starting to try my patience. --Elkman (Elkspeak) 14:27, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What I meant was, new could expire at any time. It actually seems kind of strange to me. But that's me. 99.230.152.143 01:57, 16 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, look. I SAID I'd stop with Pule. But I will defend Deck the Hallz in any way necessary. Huh 12:57, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

SSP report on you[edit]

You have been accused of sockpuppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the notes for the suspect, then respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Feats-O-Strength (2nd). Thank you. Daniel Case (talk) 17:47, 14 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Heads up, there.[edit]

After our little back-and-forth a while back, these fellas think I'm a sockpuppet of you. I've already made my statement on the case, and I think you ought to do the same, you know? Say a little something, make our side, the side of truth known. By the way, I want to thank you. I ain't nearly as shy as I used to be, and I think it was our conversating what that did it, you know? Porkman Pork (talk) 01:39, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The guy made a notice right above this, but thanks. Just made my statement. And you're welcome. Glad I could help. And as for your cinnamon-pizza suggestion, I gotta try that sometime. Huh (talk) 02:23, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of The Legend of Long Jon[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article The Legend of Long Jon, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Non-notable episode, no source. Note that all of Season 1's eps have been deleted.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Unblocked[edit]

You have been afforded another chance. Please make the best use of it. -- Avi (talk) 16:17, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! One question- am I allowed to take that thing off my userpage? Huh (talk) 16:32, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, from your user page. -- Avi (talk) 16:48, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Template:US Holidays. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. –Juliancolton Happy Holidays 16:55, 24 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Festivus[edit]

Hi, and thank you for protecting the page and going through so much to protect the mention on the template. Nice work. I've made several edits to Festivus, including tightening the lead, edits for clarity, for pov, etc. Please take a look and see if you approve. Thanks again, Randy Kryn (talk) 11:47, 13 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
