Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Accessibility problems with station number icons[edit]

Hi. I previously removed the station number icons you added to Sōbu Line (Rapid) and some other Japanese rail line articles because they introduced accessibility issues, which I thought I mentioned in my edit summary at the time (here), but I notice you have re-added them. This is covered in the "Remember accessibility for the visually impaired" section of Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Icons, but the problem is that adding the station numbers in purely graphical form (i.e. using icons) means that the information will not be visible to readers using text-only browsers or screen readers. As I mentioned in my earlier edit summary, the problem can be resolved by adding alt text to each icon (e:g: [[File:JR_JO-19_station_number.png|50px|alt=JO-19]]). I know this involves a bit more work, but would you be willing to do this? --DAJF (talk) 01:12, 23 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I am willing to do it. J4lambert (talk) 02:08, 23 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Then would you please do so? The same applies to the Yamanote Line article, which also introduced accessibility issues by replacing readable text with icons. --DAJF (talk) 00:47, 6 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Please could you also add the necessary "alt" fields to the icons in the Keihin-Tōhoku Line article as well. --DAJF (talk) 00:50, 6 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. J4lambert (talk) 02:19, 6 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

February 2017[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Johnny Au. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Toronto subway, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Please note that the verifiability policy mandates that unsourced material that has been challenged, such as by a "fact" tag, or by its removal, may not be added back without a reliable, published source being cited for the content, using an inline citation. The cited source must clearly support the material as presented in the article, and the burden is on the person wishing to keep in the disputed material. So if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so, following these requirements! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Removal of location maps from station articles[edit]

Hi. I've noticed that you have been removing the location maps from Japanese railway station articles, such as Nihombashi Station recently. You did not leave any comment in your edit summary at the time, so I have restored the map. Is there any particular reason why you removed the maps? If you are worried about the clutter created by the station icons, all you need to do is add | map_dot_label = to the infobox together with the station name, so please consider this in future rather than just removing the map. --DAJF (talk) 01:06, 12 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

December 2017[edit]

You added the Network O&Os navbox to the ends of articles on PBS stations such as KQED, KERA-TV, WTTW, WETA-TV, etc. The truth is, PBS doesn't have "O&O" stations; they're not even bound by a common schedule. I reverted the edits accordingly. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 13:58, 7 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You should add the Network O&Os navbox to stations owned by Ion Television, even though there about 40 or 50 of those. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 14:06, 7 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
So where should the PBS stations go under? J4lambert (talk) 15:15, 7 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Nowhere, as PBS doesn't have O&Os. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 16:28, 7 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
How about placing those stations under the PBSTV template with a new section called "Major PBS member stations"? J4lambert (talk) 21:35, 7 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Vale a Pena Ver de Novo[edit]

Hello, J4lambert. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Vale a Pena Ver de Novo".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

August 2018[edit]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Template:Rail-interchange/doc/CA/pq, you may be blocked from editing.

Note that the additions you made do not work as you intended/expected:

  • {{rint|montreal|exo}}
  • {{rint|montreal|rail|1}}
  • {{rint|montreal|rail|2}}
  • {{rint|montreal|rail|3}}
  • {{rint|montreal|rail|4}}
  • {{rint|montreal|rail|5}}
  • {{rint|montreal|rail|6}}

As you have been told before, changes to Template:Rail-interchange/doc (and all subpages) do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING unless the main template is also changed. If you continue to make these changes, I will request that you be banned from editing templates. Useddenim (talk) 20:09, 30 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hurricane Irene retirement[edit]

Can you undo the note because my sentence was relevant to the topic. Maybe if I put it in parentheses maybe it won't take away from the sentence. Please understand that I am trying to enjoy Wikipedia just as you do. Also I see your track record and it's crap so basically you are messing up articles and ruining everything. If this issue doesn't get resolved I will report this. Flasty Jam 2 (talk) 18:38, 7 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Hurricane Florence and the Machine requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. -- Tavix (talk) 16:31, 12 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Elimination table[edit]

What show is that for? Which season? Mvcg66b3r (talk) 16:05, 18 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The game show Duel for the show's first season in December 2007. J4lambert (talk) 16:21, 18 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Why is it on your user page? Mvcg66b3r (talk) 19:37, 18 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I was transferring it over to the article's talk page, which is known as Talk:Duel (U.S. game show). J4lambert (talk) 19:57, 18 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps you could use your personal sandbox for that. Your user page has a specific purpose here. General Ization Talk 20:01, 18 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I placed it in the sandbox and then transferred the table over to the show's talk page. This is no longer needed. J4lambert (talk) 20:02, 18 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2018 election voter message[edit]

Hello, J4lambert. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
