Why you removed the changes I made in Jessie J's page?
[edit]Hi my friend, it's me JD3rulo. I am wondering why you let me a notification saying that I can't use a link to a blog page as a reliable source, so you mean its content must be wrong? I just wanted to complete some of the topics that are waiting to be writen for making Jessie's page more complete. I personally had doubts about her vocal range so I made research and I convinced myself she's a mezzo-soprano because she spans from A3 to A5 in her song Mamma Knows Best, according to the sheet music. So if you wanna keep the page the way it was before, I'm telling you it's wrong because it says she's a soprano. Also I'm not sure why you replaced the picture that I hung up to the one that was before, my picture is oldest (2011) but I could say everyone would be pleased to watch it instead of yours, because she doesnt' look good with that hairdo. Whatever the decision you make, I'm telling you one thing: if all of you are so meticulous about editing pages, you should dedicate more time in upgrading articles and don't let them abandoned as you usually do. - Part of your answer is above - it's a copyright violation, much like the images you have added to the article, and at Commons. Read the links provided. Wikipedia is serious about copyright violations, and persistent offenders are blocked from editing.
It's also not a reliable source - read WP:RS for what sources are acceptable.
Finally, instead of being upset and defensive when your edits are reverted, try to read and understand the explanations as to why, either here, or in the edit summaries of the reverting editor(s). That way you can learn what is, and what is not acceptable. Edit warring your changes in after reversion is never acceptable. We edit collaboratively here, by consensus, and editors need to abide by that consensus at all times. You'll find the responses you get are heavily influenced by your own attitude. Good luck. Your recent edits
[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Jessie J
[edit]Hi JD3rulo, thanks for contacting me about collaborating on the Jessie J article. I'm not that familiar with her work or career, so don't know how much help I could actually provide. I'd be happy to take a look at anything you wanted to add, but you may find it more useful to work with someone who's edited the article and knows more about her. My knowledge is sadly limited to seeing her on The Voice on a couple of occasions, and hearing her songs on Radio 2. Paul MacDermott (talk) 12:24, 16 October 2013 (UTC)
Hi JD3rulo. Thanks for the offer but I mostly work on articles of Australian artists. I don't know much about Jessie J but I do like her songs though. 0z (talk) 21:35, 17 October 2013 (UTC)
Hola! Entiendo y hablo un poco el español porque lo estudió en la escuela. I don't know anything about Jessie J, but I have added her vocal range and type. Your last edit the article was reverted by User:Fat&Happy because the singer's official website is not considered a reliable, published, third-party source. Thanks for contacting me, have a nice day too! ~ benzband (talk) 15:47, 18 October 2013 (UTC)
- Update: My edit was reverted (by User:Begoon) because the source wasn't reliable. I can't find any sources other than blogs, so I'm afraid I can't help much. :( benzband (talk) 18:01, 18 October 2013 (UTC)
Hey JD3rulo! Thank you, for reaching out to me. I have not been very active on new projects for wikipedia lately, so I am primarily interested in maintaining my own articles and interests. I can tell you from looking at some of your attempted edits that it would be a good thing for you to rely on only third party sources. Newspapers, magazines, and books are usually better sources for the information you want to add. Blogs, websites that are primarily commercial in nature, and information directly from the artist are not generally acceptable as sources for information on Wikipedia. Believe me, I understand where you are coming from, because I have read many many articles on the Spanish Language Wikipedia, and have even translated a few into English. I can see a lot of difference, especially the amount of primary source information and original research that is allowed on there. But on the English Wikipedia, it just isn't allowed. Best wishes to you. JMax (Okay, tell me. What'd I do this time?) 18:41, 20 October 2013 (UTC)
I wanna collaborate in translating pages
[edit]Hi, I'm JD3rulo. I'm interested in collaborating to translate articles from Spanish to English or contrariwise, so if you can assign me some articles I would be pleased to translate them. I'll wait for your answer in my talk page. Que tengas un buen dia!JD3rulo (talk) 23:32, 18 October 2013 (UTC)
- Hi JD3rulo,
- Welcome to Wikipedia! In my job, I'm looking for people to do translation for the software and help pages for Wikipedia:VisualEditor. Everything is written in English originally, and needs to be translated. You can see how far along we've gotten at mw:VisualEditor/TranslationCentral—it looks like the Spanish translations are at about 80% or so finished, and need someone to help make those last steps. We also need people to make screenshots, so that the images in the Spanish help pages show Spanish articles, rather than English articles. There are instructions on that page (your Wikipedia username/password works there), and you can say hello to Patrick, who is the main translation contact.
- If you are looking for articles to translate, I can (strictly as a volunteer, just like you) tell you that there is a list of more than 2,000 articles here that would benefit from translating some or all of the page the Spanish Wikipedia article into English. You can see that list at Category:Articles needing translation from Spanish Wikipedia. Also, if you have an interest in medicine, then Wikipedia:WikiProject Medicine/Translation Task Force might interest you. Look for User:Jmh649 (Doc James), who knows a lot about it. Wikipedia:Translation is another place to look for ideas and practical advice on how to go about it.
- Good luck, and thanks for your help! Whatamidoing (WMF) (talk) 02:03, 19 October 2013 (UTC)
Jessie J
[edit]I would love to help with finding reliable sources for the Jessie J article. I've been scouring the internet for sources that prove her vocal range for a long, long time, with no success. Let me know if you find anything! I might be able to word it out for you and add it to the article in a way that we can guarantee it won't be deleted! --Thevampireashlee (talk) 22:22, 22 October 2013 (UTC)
- Here is a list of websites Wikipedia considers reliable for articles about musical albums. Most of them write articles about the singers themselves too, so it's very helpful. I use it often. It helped me write articles like Lana Del Rey, Kesha, Porcelain Black, and Brooke Candy. Here it is: Wikipedia:ALBUM/REVSIT. :) --Thevampireashlee (talk) 22:24, 22 October 2013 (UTC)
RE: Jessie J
[edit]I got your message but I'm sorry to say I don't think I'll be able to do that. I don't often edit on articles like those and I live in the Czech Republic so that would be difficult for me. Sorry. { [ ( jjj 1238 ) ] } 18:28, 31 July 2014 (UTC)

Jessie J charts
[edit]Hi JD3rulo! I will gladly update the charts for "Bang Bang." It seems that some other people are also helping so I'm sure everything will be added as soon as the information is available. Thank you for asking me! Divine618 (talk) 03:30, 5 August 2014 (UTC)

[edit]What’s goin on? I sure will keep an eye on the us billboard hot 100 for you, as i already do haha. im a nicki minaj fan so im hoping it would chart high. we have had a lot of airplay, and atleast 400,000 digital downloads and atleast 5.5 million streams. looking at other no. 1 debuts examples from katy perry, there is a chance it might debut no. 1 on the hot 100 charts but this is only my estimate so let’s hope for the best! chart will be released on thursday so we will find out then! The Pinkprint
[edit]It would be appreciated if you looked over and voted on the move request for "The Pink Print" to the "The Pinkprint". Up to this point there hasn't been a direct response as to which spelling was correct. Nicki Minaj herself clarified the question directly stating it was written, "The Pinkprint", (https://twitter.com/NICKIMINAJ/status/497117375712329728). Leave either your support or opposition for the move here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:The_Pink_Print#Requested_move_06_August_2014. Disambiguation link notification for October 13
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited One Direction: Where We Are - The Concert Film, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Strong, Rock Me and Kiss You. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:01, 13 October 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm SummerPhD. I noticed that you made a change to an article, List of mezzo-sopranos in non-classical music, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.
