Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

JaniOctopus,

I have received your email regarding the Janimation article that was deleted and am responding here since open communication is usually preferred on wikipedia unless some privacy issues are involved.

You can read the discussion that led to the deletion here but the central concern was that there didn't seem to be enough reliable and independent sources that had covered the company in sufficient depth. In order for the article to be recreated, such sources would need to found.
As you are related to the company, you shouldn't directly attempt to recreate the article through this or any other account/ IP, and I would discourage you from hiring anyone to do it on your behalf (see WP:COI and WP:PAID for the related wikipedia policies). Instead, here is what I'd suggest:

  1. Firstly, disclose your relation with the company on your user page.
  2. Secondly, since you are likely to be knowledgeable of the coverage Janimation has received, help us establish the company's notability by listing the best available sources. Note that we are looking for significant coverage of Janimation in multiple reliable sources that are independent of the company; the meaning of the bolded terms is explained here. Trivial mentions of the company in articles that are focused on the projects that Janimation has worked upon, are unlikely to qualify for this purpose. And .

You can list such sources right (focus on the best few sources rather than compile a comprehensive list). Editors can then give you feedback and further input on whether/how to proceed forward to recreate the article. Let me know if you have any questions; you can also post them at WP:TEAHOUSE. Cheers.
