Do not list secondary carriers for code share flights. For example, if Air New Zealand operates a domestic flight under its own flight number and an additional Singapore Airlines codeshare, the codeshare can be noted for the Air NZ flight but this should not be listed as a Singapore Airlines flight.

Jpatokal, I'm going to have to say this. I know Chiba is not in Tokyo. It said that Kikkoman is based in nearby Chiba prefecture. You did not read what I posted there.

If we get beyond that, the fact that Kikkoman is based there should still be noted because companies based nearby are still a big draw to a city. For instance, look at the companies list for Dallas and Chicago; many companies are based not in the actual city limits but in the suburbs. In addition, though I have not seen any demographics, I suspect that the situation of Chiba is much like that of Sugar Land of Houston; Sugar Land acts as both an "anchor city" and a suburb. In addition, Kikkoman's headquarters may be associated with Tokyo enough to the point where it should be listed anyway. If I see media reports from post-new headquarters that state that Kikkoman's headquarters are in Tokyo (which they are not), then Kikkoman would come back in. Actually there has been a great deal of discussion about capitalization of plant names in articles. I thought perhaps the discussion had gone the other way again while I was out of circulation when you moved the article on Vietnamese Coriander to Vietnamese coriander, but when I created "Cuban oregano", User:UtherSRG promptly moved it to Cuban Oregano. Perhaps this needs to be taken up again on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Tree of Life. In any case do what you want with the text of the Laksa article (my main object was to avoid redirects), but I would prefer you leave the Vietnamese Coriander article where it is at the moment. Thanks for doing a move. However, a few thoughts if I may

1) Moving out everything from Malaysia after 1997 seems to imply that the history of Malaysia totally stopped in the 1990s (as if the country got towed out to sea and sunk). Would be nice if you could perhaps summarize and move ou the details yet leave the summary. Also possible to move out the entire section as a whole so that it doesn't truncate the thing.

2) The VT bit is a decision made by Mahathir overturned by the incoming government, hence a summary should be inserted should you feel that the entire chunk is too much detail.

I found the description at this website Thangka-gallery. If you click inside the picture you can see detailed views of different parts of the mandala. Thanks for the trouble -- the issue is trivial, (Is proper name plural or singular, Forsooth!) save there seem to be at least two teens in a war going well over three hundred edits in this one month sampling interval, over 70 edits in the past three days.

• I would appreciate a rational explaination (after you read my Comments in the subject dispute Talk:Tsushima Islands), of the arguement or arguments you consider vital and germane to the discusion and vote. Frankly, MOST all of you are being silly over nothing of particular importance, since both names can be redirected into the one used. I have left a comment concerning my contribution to the article, which contribution — seems to have triggered the current edit and revision wars. For that I apologize, but see the Comments on the vote. I am also taking the liberty of putting the vote section AFTER the Comments about same.
• Still, I have just spent over four hours of valuable spare time, and would welcome your thoughts after you read and understand the distinction I put forth between a governments termonology as a governing body and a geographical reference like an archepelego, which it certainly is.
• More to the point, I'd like to see your defense regarding your favorite POV of what I had to say viz a viz the mergest attitude of the senior editors and administrators that frequent the Wikipedia:VfD discussions. To my recollection, I don't recollect any of you hotheads in this dispute ever spending anytime thereon, possibly excepting Mel Etitis, but rarely even then.
• In any event, I'm neutral here, and have asked that the article be kept EDIT FREE for the next three days by placing The Inuse template into it — I'd copyedited over two and half hours before I suspended that effort the other night because this shameful fued was going on — proper English grammer does depend, unfortunately, on whether one uses the plural or the singular. I saved that on my hard drive, but I don't need to wade through yet another 70 edits to finish the job. As it is, this matter will probably double the time it takes for such a simple job.
• If you are local to Japan, some history of the canals or Sea-channel is certainly germane to the ongoing discussion, moreover, any cogent arguement you condsider being particularly telling needs to be clearly repeated in the current on going comments if you want them counted on in the vote.
• I will make sure this message goes to each contributor to the article the past month, so you are not being singled out. Now is the time to take a deep breath, for rational concise summaries, not all the arguing that is so wearisome in 66 printed pages - half a novelette, I'd guess! It's certainly a lot to ask your fellow editors to wade through on a minor issue.

It looks like you made a major mistake when creating articles about Japanese clans / domains, such as Aizu. A han 藩 is not a clan; its a feudal domain. Feudal domains are given to clans by the shogunate. Ruling families have their own family names, in the case of Aizu that have been 5 different, the last were the Matsudaira, feel free to check ja:会津藩 for reference. The mountain climbing guide book I am using as a source is very clear in in its furigana, that san is used in this case, despite my inability to differentiate ro and ru. Thanks for trimming that list on the Gaijin page. I think the tags definitively labelling gaijin as perjorative and identifying it as an ethnic slur should also go: although some people choose to percieve it as such (which deserves mentions), objectively speaking it is neither.

Regarding the airport line, i added it based on preliminary news reports according to which the line starts at ND railway station and passes through connaught place, which will be the main boarding point for check in. I am with you on this. I first responded in Wikipedia talk:Lead section#Names in multiple languages in lead, and I wanted to weigh in at Talk:Singapore Changi Airport, too, but there was so much discussion already that I didn't have the time to read it all. But I read that there already was a box in that article, and I completely agree with you that that should be enough. As a matter of fact, I once proposed to deprecate the in-intro parentheses. (See Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style (China-related articles)/Archive1#Deprecate In-Line in favour of Box?.) Although I got more support than opposition, the opposition had more time on their hands and was so vociferous that the discussion didn't get anywhere. They even deleted the boxes where I had inserted them, as in Xiongnu. My reason for moving Manila-Clark to Angeles City is that the airport that Tiger is serving serves Angeles City not Clark (see the infobox of the airport). For example Narita International Airport it is indeed located in Chiba but we still state Tokyo-Narita in the destination lists because the airport serves Tokyo (see infobox of airport).

Another reason is that it doesn't necessarily mean that if the airline refers to it as Manila-Clark, we should indeed state Manila-Clark, instead we should state Angeles City because DMIA serves Angeles City not Manila-Clark. For example Flyglobespan will be flying to Hamilton/John C. Munro International Airport in May of this year, and they refer to the airport as Toronto-Hamilton International Aiport[3] but in destination lists we state Hamilton, not Toronto-Hamilton because the airport clearly serves Hamilton (see infobox of the airport).

Hi Jpatokal, what you said sounds correct. Within Hinduism, religious leaders such as sannyasis are often buried in salt with mausolea-like structures built over them which are called are called Samadhis - referring to the belief that they have not 'died' in the common sense of the term (i.e to be re-born) and are instead merely carrying on their samadhi (perfectional meditation) elsewhere in existence. I know very little about the other exceptions you mentioned, but do know it is also common practice to place bodies into holy rivers such as the Ganges where cremation is innapropriate, or as an alternative. Hi Jpatokal, as you can probably guess, I have almost had it with being unable to edit the Singapore Airlines article without hitting a brick wall with Huaiwei. You may have read on the article talk page that I have mentioned to Huaiwei, that if he continues to revert verifiable information with unverifiable info, or continues to remove dispute tags from the article (and claim that I need to get concensus to even add them), that I would file a RFC/U in regards to this. Going back thru your own history, I see that you have been involved with Huaiwei and a mediation cabal (which he didn't participate in and then claimed that he wasn't given the opportunity). Do you think that RFC/U would be appropriate in this case? You too have hit the nail on the head, in calling the fanboyism (as much as we shouldn't use that word, there is no other for it) on the SIA article, and it is holding the article back, and unfortunately is holding me back from editing other articles, such as Aeroflot, in which Huaiwei has attempted to include highly NPOV info (such as this diff for example). Excuse me for butting in, and I can't answer for Thaksin's parents et al., but the use of derogatory nicknames as a kind of shield is an extraordinarily ancient practice that likely goes back to when naming began. It should be a subject in its own write, or at least added (with scholarly references that I lack) as a major section to name. Some might consider Intelligent Mr Toad to be derogatory; my own wiki:user name, if not downright derogatory, is at best deprecatory (now I'll copy this to your talk page.) You cannot proove the source for "his fortune as a black marketeer". Shure, in Japan, during the rebuilding after 1945, the black market has ben the main market. However, apart of that, Okadas involvement is just an unproven myth here, exclusively perpetuated in wikipedia and related websites. You share a responsibility for that.

Where have you "heard" the black marketeer version? "No Source" can happen to anybody, no problem. I suggest, you retract your remark from the article, until you have a proof. I would support such remark, when the proof is doubtless. As we should reject religious POV, we equally should reject rumours and discrediting buzz.

Hi dear!! I (Abhishek971) had loaded correct informations on Delhi Metro, but you have deleted many of them. I gave absolutely reliable references. Also you said that I should not refer to such sites (Delhi Metro Rail Corporation's official website). Don't you think that for any project, its official website is the most reliable source !!!. I have one more doubt regarding Delhi's population as stated in wikipedia. In the list of cities proper by population, Delhi's population was grossly understated. The reference was taken from some world gazatter, which states Delhi's population at some 9.7 million. But in reality the municipal population of Delhi was 13.8 million according to the Census of India, 2001. Controversy over metropolitan population is understandable as there many different rules to calculate it, but there is no controversy over Delhi's population at all because it is the population of city proper and the city has its own government (known as Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi, GNCTD or Delhi Govt.). You can yourself check it by using a search engine and keywords Delhi population (Don't use sites which give population statistics of many cities in a tabular form, as they are often misleading). You will see that 2001 population was 13.8 million, in 2004 it was 15 million, in 2006 it was 16 million and so on. According to a study by Population Reference Bureau, Washington, Delhi's (city proper) population was 16.5 million ([[5]]) in 2007 and metropolitan population was 21.5 million. Even if we consider the old census figures of 2001 (13.8 million), then also Delhi is the world's most populous city proper. I don't understand what stupid world gazatter is, which states Delhi's 2008 population as 11.5 million, even lower than 2001 population !!!!

I tried to incorporate the actual figures and cited half a dozen references but still what we see is a big lie. I hope you will help wikipedia in breaking myths and letting the world know the truth by adding correct figures from proper sites (instead of referring to a stupid site like world gazatter and others).

Jpatokal, apart from the question of notability, it's a bit ironic insisting on adding red links, yet asking those who don't want them to write the article/s. This is not the Indonesia wikipedia - quality standards are much higher in terms of notability, referencing, and we don't litter articles with red links to articles that are niether notable, or likely to get written. If you look very very carefully on the talk pages of some of the more atrocious lists on Indonesian subjects in this wikipedia you will find my sig - for a while I had a specific focus on static red link lists created that never were followed up. Its an endemic disease that has festered the credibility of the Indonesian project - and I simply removed the larger lists of red links to the talk pages, and left the linked items on mainspace - and nothing has happened - red links in the Indonesian project show what happens - a name is put up and nothing further eventuates - no editing no revisiting over a considerable length of time.
