Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!

Standard crypto notice[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in blockchain and cryptocurrencies. Due to past disruption in this topic area, the community has enacted a more stringent set of rules. Any administrator may impose sanctions - such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks - on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on these sanctions. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Your edits on Dogecoin[edit]

Hello. I would like to ask you why you re-added the promotional content on Dogecoin. If a person said it was “instant, fun, and free from traditional banking fees,” please add quotation marks and put in a source. The content has been removed once again. Blubabluba9990 (talk) 21:40, 7 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I am one of the original authors of this page. This statement is literally on the www.dogecoin.com webpage: "the fun and friendly internet currency", "instant transactions" WATCH THE VIDEO on the main homepage as well. I will add the citation again. This is directly from the source-page. Thank you for letting me know.[1] MazRx (talk) 00:17, 10 May 2021 (UTC)"MazRx[reply]

Okay then. Please just put it in quotation marks and cite it. Blubabluba9990 (talk) 20:33, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I have added the slogan with attribution, context, and a reference as suggested by User:Blubabluba9990. Please familiarize yourself with the rules of Wikipedia before you continue to edit. Thanks! Ng.j (talk) 20:59, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Ng.j

thank you for keeping wikipedia safe and accurate. The DOGE-1 mission was taken directly from the source page, the sentence structure and content was not altered at all, please refer to the following link: https://www.newswire.ca/news-releases/spacex-to-launch-doge-1-to-the-moon--875845973.html.

In addition, the DOGE-1 Lunar mission, deserves it's own heading due to the fact it is a landmark case and the first-ever commercial lunar payload in history paid entirely with a cryptocurrency.

Please re-consider. Citation is as follows:

G. E. Corporation, “SpaceX to Launch DOGE-1 to the Moon!,” Cision Canada, 09-May-2021. [Online]. Available: https://www.newswire.ca/news-releases/spacex-to-launch-doge-1-to-the-moon--875845973.html. [Accessed: 10-May-2021]

As I have stated, you need to familiarize yourself with the rules of Wikipedia. What you request violates half a dozen policies, including WP:NPOV and Wikipedia:Verifiability.

DOGE-1 is a very minor secondary payload. It serves a very limited scientific purpose and is promotional by its very nature. The only source that asserts its notability is a biased press release from the company promoting it. Ng.j (talk) 03:55, 11 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You have demonstrated bias and consistently undermined the neutral point of view in order to promote Dogecoin. Your focus and promotion of Dogecoin leads me to believe you have a vested financial conflict of interest. You have failed to adhere to the rules of Wikipedia, despite being provided links on policy.

Please stop reverting and deleting cited references just because you disagree with them. This is your final warning. Ng.j (talk) 20:43, 12 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Ng.j,

Thank you Sir for keeping wikipedia safe and accurate. Please consider accepting legacy edits that have been supported by citations. I am happy to discuss any edits you feel are not neutral. Blubabluba9990 (has also agreed with my edits, as above)

Thank you again
