Wrestling results table: main events[edit]

Hey,

One thing that comes to mind with {{Professional wrestling results table}} is that it might be a good idea to accommodate for cases where a show's main event has been announced as such. Take, for example, All In (2023): MJF vs. Adam Cole was the first match announced, and it was immediately announced as the main event, but we had to keep bumping it down the table by changing it from the first match on the card to the second, etc. In my mind, it might be more helpful if, in those circumstances, there was some sort of parameter that could keep that match in the last row as more matches are added.

However, because Lua makes my head spin, I wouldn't know how to incorporate that myself, so I'm asking you for advice instead. :) Sceptre (talk) 22:48, 2 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Sceptre: It can be done, but my understanding is that future matches should be listed in the order they were announced (including the main event), in which case you would only have to move the main event match to the bottom once―after the event begins. Per WP:PW/SG, If the article is about a future event, this section is renamed Matches and includes planned matches and their stipulations in order of which they were announced. If this is still the consensus, I'm not sure these changes would be necessary. Prefall 23:27, 2 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Question about the edit you reverted[edit]

Hi, I'm contacting you here as you seem to have disabled the email option. You recently reverted an edit I made on this page and you have mentioned the source's poor quality as a reason. My question is, what would be a valid source in your opinion and how am I supposed to tell if a source is reliable or not? Plus, the information I've provided, the fact that game has sold over 31M copies is found on countless websites, which means the information can be trusted, I just randomly chose one over the others. There's no doubt the sales figure is correct but if you want a reliable source to be used, then tell me what that should be so I can use that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vylkeer (talkcontribs) 08:27, 7 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Vylkeer: See WP:VG/S for a list of sources for video games specifically, and WP:RSP for a more generalized list of sources. They indicate which ones are considered reliable. It seems Activision has not publicized specific sales figures in a long while, so most figures out there are mere estimates from unreliable sources like VGChartz.
