all these reliable secondary sources have been mentioned as references. The Hindu is one of the leading newspapers in India. Have provided you with all the secondary sources link in my previous message for your kind perusal. Have incorporated them in the article as well.

Please kindly consider

I have reviewed the sources you have pointed out. The reliability of The Hindu is not at issue, but the amount of information on Pai is. These sources are mostly just reviews of individual concerts - routine coverage - that don't provide meaningful information on Pai. If we based an article on those sources, we'd end up with the names of his gurus and the list of instruments he plays. That's not an indication of notability. Rs. 6 crore offers to come to the US? "Has composed musical tracks for India’s leading mobile operators"? Has rendered more than 1000 stage concerts, spanning over 25 years"? None of that is even hinted at in those sources, and the last one in fact is pretty much contradicted by the 2006 source, only 12 years ago, which describes him as "up and coming", not quite the description for someone whose career already supposedly spanned more than a decade at that point. In fact he's still described as a "promising up-and-coming musician" in 2012, when he supposedly already had 20 years of his career behind him. Huon (talk) 23:25, 14 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your reply. Kuldeep Pai who was born in Kerala, India shifted to Chennai to embark on a career in music and to establish himself in TamilNadu. Though he had rendered concerts since childhood in Kerala, he was a new face to the TamilNadu Carnatic musical fraternity and hence was mentioned as 'up and coming'.
However, I distinctly understand the need to substantiate the statements mentioned in the article. I would like to abide by the rules framed by Wikipedia and I am happy to edit or remove the lines indicated, from the main article. Please guide me through to make this page an active one.
Thanks Huon for your suggestions. I have now edited the page 'Kuldeep Pai' by removing the above statements due to insufficient supplementary links supporting the statements...
Please let me know if there is anything else that i need to do. Sharbath 16:07, 15 February 2018 (UTC)
Hi, I noticed your "Help Me!" request, but you seemed to be looking for Huon directly instead of general help. I've re-formatted them as responses to Huon's comment, and I'm pinging Huon so that they see them. Good luck, and let me know if there's anything else you need! -- Thanks, Alfie. talk to me | contribs 16:19, 15 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Aware that the page 'Kuldeep Pai' has been considered as an article for deletion. I would like to mention that Kuldeep Pai is a very popular musician in India and is well-known for his contributions in Hinduism and Spirituality through music.

I have cited references that are available as external links in the main article that are readily available on the internet. However, just so you know, there are media coverages and articles about him covered in various other newspapers and magazines. The printed version of newspapers bearing his articles and awards have been scanned and uploaded in his website under the 'Press' section - http://kuldeepmpai.com/press/ (The article 'Kuldeeply Passionate' mentions about Kuldeep's gold medal in Indian Music from Madras University which required the citation in the main article).

I am aware that the references from his own resource are deemed invalid and hence was unable to add these as the citation in the main article.

Kindly consider the page to be restored and make it an active wiki page.

Please say this here. A consensus is to be reached on the link I included, not here. Thank you, and happy editing. Vermont | reply here 23:29, 15 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
1. What purport to be scanned and uploaded articles from newspapers may be tampered with or totally faked. They are not reliable sources.
2. If they are real, then they are violations of copyright and cannot be linked to, since we fight copyright violations fiercely.
3. There is not, and never will be, a requirement that references be available online. There are plenty of formats for proper references to print publications that are not available online. --Orange Mike | Talk 03:06, 16 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sharan (talk) 18:11, 19 February 2018 (UTC) Hi Hagennos, Thanks for your message. I have interviewed Kuldeep Pai in 2016 for a London based online web portal (British South Indians) and while reserching about him, i realised, he didn't have a wiki page and hence wanted to create a wiki page for him. There exists no personal relationship. This wiki page is a voluntary work that iam doing out of my own interest and i am not being paid any money or compensation for this work from anyone. Hi there,

I see you have closed the page mentioning -closing as no consensus'. I had included new artifacts, magazine reference and links to the National daily newspaper- The Hindu, substantiating the notability of the subject. There were three admins who had voted 'Keep' and none for 'Delete' in the AfD forum. We had discussions in the forum and I had incorporated few more citations to the content and improvised the content by adding his awards, with appropriate links. So why was this closed as no consensus. I would like to know the status of this article and what my next steps are...what else can I do to make this article live..kindly advise.
