Welcome to my talk page. The general guidelines I follow on this page are outlined below.
- I welcome discussion here on Wikipedia related matters, but please refrain if you wish to contact me on other matters.
- Sign your posts with four tildes (~~~~)
- Be civil. I will be correspondingly polite.
- If you add personal attacks or vandalism to this page, it will be reverted.
- I am often busy in real life, and will not necessarily reply to messages with alacrity. Keep this in mind.
- I will respond on your talk page unless you specify that you want a response here, which I will oblige.
- If you are here to request my aid as an administrator, then please provide a thorough explanation of what you want done and why. If I am not available, then I would recommend one of the many pages where you can report such tasks for administrators to take care of the problem (i.e. WP:AIV for vandalism, WP:RFP for protection).
- I will archive every thirty topics. Please do not respond on archived discussions. If you wish to continue a conversation, start a new discussion on this page.
And that's it. Happy editing!
Fellow Princetonian Here[edit]
Hey, do you still go to Princeton? I used to be really active on Wikipedia (not really since 2007, unfortunately), was browsing around the ol' categories of users by alma mater, and found your profile. I'm Class of '11. Cheers, –- kungming·2 12:49, 27 December 2009 (UTC)
- I see. There's not many people around any more, which is kind of sad. Definitely a lot quieter and less active than it was in 06 and 07. –- kungming·2 07:03, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
Dear Sephiroth BCR,
You are receiving this message because either [[Category:WikiProject Video games members]] or {{User WPVG}}
is somewhere in your userspace, and you are currently listed in the "Unknown" section on the project's member list.
The member list is meant to provide a clearer picture of active membership. It is recommended that you update your status if you plan to regularly:
- Edit video game-related pages in the Article namespace
- Participate in video game-related discussions in the Project namespace (WT:VG, WP:AfD, WP:GAN, etc.)
Members listed in the "Unknown" section will be removed from the membership list and category at the end of January 2010. You may re-add yourself to the active list at any time. Thank you for your help, and we look forward to working with you.
Sincerely, the Video Games WikiProject (delivery by xenobot 22:02, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

Hello! I am currently working on the "Swedish Project" and "Award and Prizes"'s article Nobel Prize. Since it is a top importance article and not even GA class I am trying to make it a GA article and perhaps further after that. However, I'm in a state now where I could use some help. I need a new pair (several pairs in fact) of eyes to look at the article and the talk page for improving prose, debation of different things and some sourcing. Do you got any possibility to help out? Welcome back[edit]
Hi Sephiroth BCR. Long time no see, so here is a big Welcome Back! G.A.Stalk 04:35, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
- Nice to see you back. Talking about Sephiroth and since you worked in these articles, the FFVII characters articles had some good improvements: Tifa Lockhart and Barret Wallace became GA (credits to user:Kungfuman who has just retired); Zack Fair and Vincent Valentine now pass notability (I restarted playing FFVII); and I cleaned up the Sephiroth article alongside FleetCommand trimming in-universe details, sourcing and expanding out-of-universe info. Whitewolfartic is also doing a good work in the character list. By the way, a user also worked very good in List of Bleach video games, but it could not become a FL. Also, I could make Gin Tama become GA after a copyedit from another user and a peer review. Regards.Tintor2 (talk) 13:31, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
- Once again, welcome back. From the FL side of things there isn't much that weren't already aware of, except for the return of a redlink criterion that seems it is here to stay (unless you want to rehash this again). Anyway, hope to see you back at FLC with your usual cadre of anime lists and whatnot; you better get a move on because Chrishomingtang is making a good run at your number 3 spot ;) Also, FLC has been going through its usual musical chairs at director, but if you decide you want your FLRC delegate spot back, I will be happy to give it up (for now, we don't have any editors who are solely FLRC delegates as the FLC directors have taken that spot). Cheers, Dabomb87 (talk) 13:38, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
- I'm the fourth to say so on this page: Welcome back! Extremely exciting to see you around! (No comment other than that though ) ~Itzjustdrama ? C 22:49, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
- I already said this on Collectonian's talk page, but I'll say it again: Welcome back! Hope you enjoyed your wikibreak! =) --Dinoguy1000 (talk · contribs) as 67.58.229.153 (talk) 04:57, 21 January 2010 (UTC)

RE: Any Lakers lists on hand?[edit]
Haha, I don't think I'm going to beat you in FLNs until the summer, since I'm currently on wikibreak right now, though I search articles to read once in a while. I'm sure User:Chrishomingtang would surely collaborate with you on Lakers-related lists, as he has nominated List of Los Angeles Lakers seasons for FL (collaboration with me), and I think he's still working on the Los Angeles Lakers roster. You could also comment on WT:LAKERS to see if anyone would collaborate with you. Thanks for asking me though! --[[SRE.K.A.L.|L.A.K.ERS]] 05:44, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
Is the development section now sufficient? And about the reception section, do you have some suggestions where to look for reviews? I simply couldn't google anything out on the characters overall. Nergaal (talk) 05:42, 1 February 2010 (UTC)

Admin Coaching: Reconfirmation[edit]
I was looking through the coaches at Wikipedia:Admin_coaching/Status and saw that your entry was commented out. I have moved it to the "Reconfirmation" section.
Could you let me know if you are still interesting in being involved with Admin Coaching, or if you would prefer to have your name removed from the "reconfirmation" list and placed on the "retired" list. If you want to be involved, could you please move your entry from "Reconfirmation" to "Active" and indicate how many students you would be willing to have (obviously, if you are actively coaching at the moment, then please indicate this!)
If I do not hear from you within a week, I will assume that you would like to have your name removed from the list of coaches and moved to the retired list.

Hi, would you be so kind as to give us support![edit]
Sorry you might think I'm a dumb person since I previously left this message on the Userbox page talk... I hope I'm not... Hello, My name is Claudi Balaguer (User Capsot of the Catalan Viquipèdia and Occitan Wikiccionari), I hope you're doing fine and I sincerely apologize for this intrusion. I've just read your profile and aside from seeing that you're a learned person I've understood that you show a real interest for things I really care (Science fiction, mangas...) and yes Blade Runner is one of the best films ever, Harrison Ford was real good there! I would even daresay you are a kind person wishing to help the others, so I think you understand what are a minorized language and culture and maybe I am not bothering you and you might help us... I'm a member of a Catalan association "Amical de la Viquipèdia" which is trying to get some recognition as a Catalan Chapter but this hasn't been approved up to that moment in spite of our efforts since Catalan hasn't one state. We would appreciate your support, visible if you stick this on your first page: Wikimedia CAT. I wish you a great, pleasant and warm summer, take care! Capsot (talk) 08:15, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

Romanization for words of English origin[edit]
On the MOS:JP talk page, a discussion has been started about including or not including romanizations for words of English origin, such as Fainaru Fantajī in Final Fantasy (ファイナルファンタジー, Fainaru Fantajī) (for the sake of simplicity, I called this case "words of English origin", more information on semantics here).
Over the course of a month, it has become apparent that both the parties proposing to include or not include those romanizations cannot be convinced by the arguments or guidelines brought up by the other side. Therefore, a compromise is trying to be found that will satisfy both parties. One suggestion on a compromise has been given already, but it has not found unanimous agreement, so additional compromises are encouraged to be suggested.
One universally accepted point was to bring more users from the affected projects in to help achieve consensus, and you were one of those selected in the process.
What this invitation is:
- You should give feedback on the first suggested compromise and are highly encouraged to provide other solutions.
What this invitation is not:
- This is not a vote on including or excluding such romanizations.
- This is not a vote on compromises either.
It would be highly appreciated if you came over to the MOS:JP talk page and helped find a solution. Thank you in advance. Prime Blue (talk) 11:29, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
