If you this Insatiable is reliable... create the page at User:SitDownOnIt/Insatiable. Do NOT use any images or single covers but use FULLY referenced claims. Then I'll take a look, and if its notable per WP:NSONGS I'll get an administrator to move it to Insatiable (song). -- Lil_℧niquℇ №1 | talk2me 19:55, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your image uploads[edit]

Hi, I don't mean to assume bad faith on your part but I'm a little concerned about the images you uploaded that you say you took yourself. I have asked you which camera you used to photograph the members of The Wanted but you did not reply. I'm concerned at the lack of metadata and the fact they are low resolution. Did you really take all these photos?:

You have also uploaded several other photos in the past that you said you took yourself, but were deleted because you did not take them. AnemoneProjectors 16:49, 1 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi AnemoneProjectors, i don't think i saw you're other message. Yes i took all the images, and for me uploading the one's which got deleted was, i didn't know about the copyright, which i have recently just leart about. I took the majority of the photo's on my camera, Nikon D700. Thankyou for sharing you're concern. --SitDownOnIt (talk) 20:01, 1 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Wow I wish I had £1600 to spare so I could buy one of those. But how come the resolution of your photos is so low, and why is there no metadata? AnemoneProjectors 20:21, 1 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Most or all of these look like captured screenshots to me, if you took them yourself can you please upload the metadata, upload the acual digital picture that you took. Off2riorob (talk) 17:33, 2 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • - Please can you provide some of the digital data for these pics or I will assume you are not the owner and I will nominate them for deletion, thanks. Off2riorob (talk) 19:17, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The user has previously uploaded at least two images that they claimed were there's but were deleted because they did not/refused(?) provide evidence of owneship. See [1] and upload log Fixer23 (talk) 02:33, 10 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

SitDownOnIt - one of your photos has already been deleted because you did not respond or give evidence. Another is currently listed as possibly unfree. If you really do own these photos you need to provide evidence, and comment on the deletion discussion! AnemoneProjectors 12:42, 7 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you're so sure you took these photos you're going to have to upload the originals including the metadata because two have been deleted now. The rest will be deleted if you don't respond. AnemoneProjectors 15:34, 9 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

August 2011[edit]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for violating third parties' copyrights and risking bringing Wikipedia into disrepute by uploading photographs found elsewhere on the Internet and claiming that they are your own work, then making up details of how you supposedly took these photographs in order to cover up your copyright violations. This is one of the worst breaches of the community's trust I have seen in two-and-a-half years on this project and such a betrayal that I don't think the community will ever trust you again and may users will forever be suspicious of photographs which genuinely are the user's own work. Because of the damage you have done to this project, and the potential damage you could have done if one of the true copyright holders had discovered your fraud before Martin H did, "indefinite" here is intended as permanent, not "no fixed duration". However, other administrators may disagree and you can appeal by following the instructions in the next sentence. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Survey[edit]

Hi SitDownOnIt!

I have put together a survey for female editors of Wikipedia (and related projects) in order to explore, in greater detail, women's experiences and roles within the Wikimedia movement. It'd be wonderful if you could participate!

It's an independent survey, done by me, as a fellow volunteer Wikimedian. It is not being done on behalf of the Wikimedia Foundation. I hope you'll participate!

Just click this link to participate in this survey, via Google!

Any questions or concerns, feel free to email me or stop by my user talk page. Also, feel free to share this any other female Wikimedians you may know. It is in English, but any language Wikimedia participants are encouraged to participate. I appreciate your contributions - to the survey and to Wikipedia! Thank you! File permission problem with File:Jedward All-The-Small.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Jedward All-The-Small.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 09:54, 14 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
