User talk:Superpi
From Wikipedia the free encyclopedia
Hello, Superpi.esa, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I notice that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been reverted for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of deletion, you might like to draft your article before submission, then ask me or any other editor to proofread it. To start creating a draft article, just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit that page as you would any other. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
The one firm rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. It is also worth noting that Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which specifically link them to one company or corporation. If your username does have such a name, it would be advisable for you to request a change of username.
If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! You can also just type {{helpme}}
on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! -MBK004 04:51, 19 October 2010 (UTC)
Paolo Nespoli
[edit]The issue is not what you are trying to add. It is that you are removing too much. Anything that already has a reference, what is in the infobox and the maintenance tags cannot be removed (though they can be updated). Those removals are the reason for the reverts. Also, your additions did not comply with our policies on article appearance and referencing. Just because what you have is accurate does not mean that it can stay or you can remove things. Another issue is that you mention your editing is related to your job. That is a conflict of interest and I urge you to only make suggestions and list sources on the article's talk page. Then experienced editors (like myself) will be able to make suggested changes if they are allowable and any impropriety would be adverted (this would also solve the first issue of you removing what is not supposed to be removed as well as the information being properly formatted the first time). This issue is also similarly related to this username. If you work for ESA, having a username like you have is actually against our username policy. If this is the case, I can help you with changing usernames properly. -MBK004 00:40, 20 October 2010 (UTC)
Hello. A bureaucrat or clerk has responded to your username change request, but requires clarification before moving forward. Please follow up at your username change request entry as soon as possible. Thank you. ···日本穣? · 投稿 · Talk to Nihonjoe · Join WikiProject Japan! 18:26, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
License tagging for File:Paolo Nespoli.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Paolo Nespoli.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 19:07, 24 November 2010 (UTC)
