Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Happy editing! Cheers,  — Archer1234 (t·c) 20:03, 28 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

January 2024[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Archer1234. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Ajay Devgn FFilms, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.  — Archer1234 (t·c) 20:03, 28 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Upon watching "Bholaa," a film produced by your company in 2023, I noticed that the former name was displayed prominently. However, in the teaser for the next movie, "Shaitaan," it appears that both the name and logo have undergone a change.

Anything isnt reliable then their own trailers Thertxeon (talk) 20:10, 28 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You reviewed two videos and came to your own conclusion that a name change was made. Unfortunately, what you describe is called original research and is not allowed on Wikipedia. A reliable source must be cited to verify the name change. A press release from the company might suffice, but better would be an independent news source that reports the name change. I note that their website makes no mention of a name change.
I see you have restored your edit with the name change without citing a reliable source to verify. This is contrary to Wikipedia's policy called BRD, which stands for Bold, Revert, Discuss. You made a bold edit, but your edit is disupted and so was reverted. The next step is to discuss disputed matters to seek consensus from fellow editors before restoring it. So, as the editor who wants to add the change it is up to you to open a new discussion at Talk:Ajay Devgn FFilms where you can make your case and propose your change.
Note that per WP:BURDEN: The burden to demonstrate verifiability lies with the editor who adds or restores material. Until you get consensus, the material will not be allowed to remain. If you restore again without consensus on the talk page or without citing a reliable source, that is edit-warring and is not allowed. I will leave a subsequent message here that describes edit-warring in more detail so that you can learn how important it is not to do that and the consequences if you do.  — Archer1234 (t·c) 20:31, 28 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have opened a discussion at Talk:Ajay_Devgn_FFilms#Name change, where you and other editors can share any potential sources to verify a name change.  — Archer1234 (t·c) 21:39, 28 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi Thertxeon! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Ajay Devgn FFilms several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Ajay Devgn FFilms, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you.  — Archer1234 (t·c) 20:31, 28 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Ajay Devgn FFilms, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Also, you appear to be doing original research, which is not allowed on Wikipedia (see WP:OR).  — Archer1234 (t·c) 12:41, 29 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page Shaitaan (2024 film), may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

  • A "bare URL and missing title" error. References show this error when they do not have a title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 11:24, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
