April 2024[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Arjayay. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Assamese people, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 09:50, 25 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Assamese people. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 09:50, 25 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Assamese people, you may be blocked from editing. - Arjayay (talk) 14:39, 25 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

How it's even poorly sourced? Its the reality and deal with it. As a tribal i confirm that. Warriormann (talk) 14:41, 25 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia is not interested in who you are, where you are from, what race/religion/community/caste you are, what you "know", or even what you have found out.
Wikipedia is only interested in what has already been published in reliable, independent sources published by a body with a reputation for fact-checking - No blogs, no self-published sources, no bodies with a conflict of interest, no promotional sites no vanity publishers, no predatory publishers.
These sources must be properly cited in order to support any information added to, or changed in our pages, so the information can be verified as true in the future.
The responsibility for providing citations is solely on whoever adds or changes any information, to provide references from reliable sources that support those additions or changes.
You are repeatedly failing to do this, which is why your edits have been, and will continue to be, reverted, until you do add proper references.
Please see Help:Referencing for beginners for the "how to" guide. - Arjayay (talk) 15:18, 25 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Assamese people.

Your recent editing history at Assamese people shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Mising people, you may be blocked from editing. Chaipau (talk) 20:39, 25 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for persistently making disruptive edits. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Ad Orientem (talk) 22:18, 26 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I was just updating the current scenario and improving the spelling mistakes, also in karbi people Animism is written as Animism, and a good number of Cristianity population are present among karbi people according to 2011 census but the arjayay user is keep reverting my edits, and keeping the misinformationso while I was trying to fixed thatWarriormann (talk) 06:32, 27 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Your edits were disruptive and nothing here demonstrates to me that you understand this and won't repeat such edits in the future. I am concerned, rather than being a candidate for unblocking, you are likely going to receive further blocks once this block expires. I hope that's not the case, I hope you take this time to reflect on what you were doing wrong and not repeat your mistakes in the future. Yamla (talk) 11:11, 27 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
