Judo[edit]
Kiribati qualified one judoka for the following weight class at the Games. Nera Tiebwa (women's lightweight, 57 kg) got qualified via continental quota based on Olympic point rankings.[2]

Kiribati entered one weightlifter into the Olympic competition. Kaimauri Erati (men's 61 kg) secured one quota to participate in his weight division based on the allocation of an universality spot.[3]
