Just in front of the sulcus terminalis lies a V-shaped line of circumvallate papillae, and on the posterior aspects of the lateral margins of the tongue lie the foliate papillae. | |

糸状乳頭（しじょうにゅうとう、Lingual papillae (単にpapillaとも）は、舌乳頭のうち最も多数の乳頭。
舌の触覚に働くが、他の舌乳頭と違い味蕾がない。舌表面の前3分の2のほとんどを占める。
糸状乳頭は小さく円錐形をしており、分界溝に平行に並ぶ。舌尖では横に並ぶ。
