1000ギニー（The Thousand Guineas）とは、オーストラリアビクトリア州メルボルン郊外コーフィールドのコーフィールド競馬場で行われる競馬の競走である。イギリスの1000ギニーとの混乱を避けるため、オーストラリア1000ギニーと表記されることも多い。
概要[編集]
グループ制ではG1に類される。施行距離は芝1600メートルで、出走条件は3歳牝馬。賞金総額は、50万AUD。さしずめオーストラリアの1000ギニーといったところである。なお、本家イギリスの1000ギニーの英語表記が『One Thousand Guineas Stakes』なのに対して、オーストラリアの1000ギニーは『The Thousand Guineas』と、Oneの表記がオーストラリアの側にはない。
