İçli pide (Turkish: İçli pide, lit. 'Stuffed bread'), also called simply pide, is a savory dish of Turkish Black Sea origin consisting of a usually rounded, flattened base of leavened wheat-based dough topped with tomatoes, cheese, and often various other ingredients (such as meat, kaşar, beyaz peynir, and other ingredients), which is then baked at a high temperature, traditionally in a wood-fired oven.[1] A person who makes pide is known as a pideci.
