Música is a 2024 American coming-of-age romantic comedy film starring and directed by Rudy Mancuso in his feature film directorial debut. Mancuso also co-wrote the screenplay with Dan Lagana and composed the film’s original soundtrack. Camila Mendes and J.B. Smoove co-star.
Música had its world premiere at South by Southwest on March 14, 2024, and was released by Amazon Prime Video on April 4, 2024.

A young man, plagued by the music in his head, has to come to terms with an uncertain future while balancing love, family and Brazilian culture in Newark, New Jersey.[2]

Production[edit]
In April 2022, it was announced that a romantic comedy film written and directed by Rudy Mancuso titled Música was in development, with Mancuso, Camila Mendes, J.B. Smoove, Francesca Reale, and Maria Mancuso rounding out the cast.[5][6]
Release[edit]
Música had its world premiere at South by Southwest on March 13, 2024.[7] [8]It was released in the United States on April 4, 2024.[9]

On the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, the film holds an approval rating of 97% based on 34 reviews, with an average rating of 7.6/10.[10]
