Megan Suri is an American actress, best known for her role in The MisEducation of Bindu (2019), as well as for portraying Aneesa in the Netflix teen comedy series Never Have I Ever (2021–2023). She also made minor appearances in television shows such as Modern Family, Fresh Off the Boat, and Bones.

Early life[edit]

Suri was born in the United States to Punjabi immigrant parents. She spent two years in India as a child.[1]

Career[edit]

Suri made her acting debut in 2010, in the romantic comedy film Valentine's Day.[2]

In 2019, Suri starred in the independent comedy film The MisEducation of Bindu (2019).[3][4][5] A critic noted that "Megan Suri is perfectly cast as Bindu".[6] From 2021 to 2023, she portrayed Aneesa, another Indian student who goes to Devi's high school, in Never Have I Ever.[7][8][9][10] One critic opined that "Megan Suri is outstanding as Aneesa".[11]
