Starting at Chris Kanyon, all U.S. Champions go into the WWE file.

While it may have had WCW's name attached to it during the Invasion, the belt was under WWE control, so all title reigns during that time go into the WWE list.

The NWA never controlled the U.S. Title.

It was always the property of Mid Atlantic Championship Wrestling, which became Jim Crockett Promotions, which became WCW. So all pre-WWE champions go into that one, single file.
