@Status: Hi. Isn't it a promotional single, though? I checked that it wasn't released in Italy on its own — the song is still only available as a part of the album on Italian iTunes. It's a radio-only single, of course. Promotional singles aren't sent to radio; they are distributed to places such as clubs, for example. There's a couple of editors I can think of that wouldn't like it. I guess they can learn to deal with it. @Status: Thanks for the explanation, I wasn't sure what's the difference between eg. "I Care" and "1+1". And I had some doubts about two songs from the new Switchfoot album ("Who We Are" and "Love Alone Is Worth the Fight"), which were included on the Fading West EP and released on the same day to two different radio formats. They have both charted on various Billboard charts, but as they weren't released separately onto iTunes, I wasn't sure if they should be listed as singles or promo singles. Actually, I would not be surprised if some of the other tracks should now have articles of their own. Between track-by-track reviews, recording details and music video info, I bet there is enough information for most of the songs. Do you know if "Haunted" has charted at all? I have been working on an expansion of the article, which was redirected back to the album article. Hi. Personally, I agree with the decision to redirect that article for now. Per WP:NSONG, charting is only one of the factors suggesting that a song may be notable – it should still meet the more important criteria for notability, like being the subject of non-trivial published works (with the exception of album reviews and articles about the record). So I think the best thing to prove the song's notability would be to look for some articles about "Ghost" and "Haunted" (and not the album), their videos, etc. In my opinion, not every single must have its own article, let alone every song from an album, no matter how popular the artist is. BUT I'm keeping my fingers crossed for finding something to prove that "Haunted" is in fact notable, and if I come across any chart positions for it, I will definitely add them and/or try to revert that redirect. Yes, I'm trying to keep an eye on some of the charts :) For example, I wasn't planning to work on "Partition" any time soon (if ever), but I saw that it charted, and I decided to expand it a little. Dear fellow I appreciate your recent edits on ostium(sponges). You removed information related to cockroaches. Dear fellow, I created this article and as a person having a fair knowledge about sponges I initially believed that term ostium is only used to denote the pores present in sponges but after a massive internet search I found that the lateral openings in the primitive heart of cockroaches are also commonly called ostia. You can mention in the article that Jennings provided vocals, or add a personnel section, where he would be listed as the vocalist on this track. @John: The problem is, we should try to provide sources for all the bits of information that we add to articles. Doesn't matter if it's an entire section discussing critical reception of an album, or just its year of release, as with this discography. I don't feel comfortable with adding something unsourced. Moreover, from my experience such content is very likely to be removed by other editors as original research (or, most often, with an edit summary saying "unsourced").
I mostly edit articles associated with WikiProjects Albums, Songs and Discographies, and as I mentioned in my edit summary, links to iTunes, Amazon or other digital retailers are commonly used there to confirm release dates (and sometimes track listing) for albums and singles. Even in FA-class articles, like 4 (Beyoncé album)#Release history, Maya (M.I.A. album), Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded. There is also a never-ending war between groups of editors who have different definitions of a single. For some, a fact that music websites call a particular song "a single" or that it was released to radio is enough; others need to see that the single was released physically or digitally (and consensus seems to be that there had to be a physical/digital release, or a radio release in the United States). Usually, a link to iTunes/Amazon is the only way to prove the release. Having a press release from the record label with release dates (like with the digital release of Beyoncé) would be a luxury, unfortunately that doesn't happen very often. — Mayast (talk) 10:10, 9 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, apologies for the late reply/activity, I've been travelling recently so I haven't been as active as I would like. The "***Flawless" article is well-written and concise which I like a lot. What I think it could benefit from is more information on the song's development, particularly information on how it existed as "Bow Down/I Been On" and how this was received. In Critical reception, distinguish between the song's reception as "Bow Down/I Been On" in March 2013 and then as "***Flawless" in December 2013. The essential point is that "Bow Down/I Been On" was received well musically, it's production was harsh, abrasive and experimental (not like anything Beyoncé had ever done), but many were confused by its lyrics when considering Beyoncé's songs "Single Ladies", "Irreplaceable" and many Destiny's Child songs ("Girl", "Independent Women") to be pro-women. "***Flawless" attempts to explain the nature of these lyrics (being pro-woman, but not anti-man as Wood of The Guardian says), but, as with the general message of Beyoncé, it serves as the most significant and explicit assertion of her feminist beliefs. Note that in the Critical reception section, it is much better to use several sources and paraphrase a summary of what the reviewer is saying, longer quotes are not as good. • Can you point me toward a page that has more information on doing this?
• How do you know if an article is "Start Class," "C-Class," "B-Class," etc.? Is there an editor's tutorial on this somewhere?
• Is there an automatic way you add articles to your Contributions list, or do you do it by hand?

@Elkaybklyn: Hi :) I'm glad you like that section. To answer your questions, I add all the pages myself as I create them. An "automatic" way to display all my articles is to follow this link: https://tools.wmflabs.org/sigma/created.py?name=Mayast&server=enwiki&ns=,,&redirects=none – you can access yours by going to 'User contributions', and then 'Articles created' at the bottom of the page.
There is no tutorial how to create a section like that, I came up with mine myself. Maybe you can look up my source code: [1], and if you have any technical questions I'll be happy to answer them if I can.
As for the classes, every article should have it's own talk page, where different WikiProjects, to which this particular article belongs, are listed. For example when you go to Talk:Ritualwell, you can see that I added the article to WikiProject Judaism and WikiProject Computing. Members of WikiProjects assess the articles that are within the scope of the WikiProjects, and add the "grade" to the WikiProject template on the talk page. For example, one of the members of WikiProject Albums assessed Fading West and gave it a : Talk:Fading West. Please note that different WikiProjects might have different criteria for the classes. Anyway, when an article I created is assessed (sometimes I assess them myself, trying to be objective), I add the icon for the class to my page.

It's from January 2010, while Foreverly was released in November 2013, so obviously the archived link doesn't show sales number for this album. I don't care about archiving the reviews and other pages in that article, those websites are still online – the sales numbers for this particular album are not.
