INSROT[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article INSROT, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of the page. Virtual Keyboard[edit]

You recently renamed the article "Virtual keyboard" to "Virtual Keyboard", but this appears to be in direct contradiction to Wikipedia's article naming rules, as described in WP:CAPS. Is there any particular reason for this? Mitch Ames (talk) 13:47, 2 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Chitrankan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Eeekster (talk) 00:15, 27 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I had removed the said copyrighted material and replaced it with new content. I had placed that material in the edit window for analysis and writing article on the basis of it. But by mistake, saved it.

December 2009[edit]

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with Chitrankan. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Eeekster (talk) 01:23, 27 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for that, I thought, after changing the content, the notice can be removed. Please put back it, if it is still needed.-- Shrish ePandit  Talk  01:36, 27 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Regd: Deletion of my edits and insertions in V.S.Naipaul page[edit]

Hi Shrish,

I would like to know why did you removed all my insertions in wikipedia for the V.S.Naipaul page when I was translating the English version as is? The Hindi page seems a deviation from the existing English one and taking the English page as a premise I was trying to translate the page as is and was trying t improve over the text. Please suggest.

Regards Sajid —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.248.163.1 (talk) 08:25, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sajid, first of all you should discuss Hindi WP related issues on Hindi WP, either on my talk page or on Chaupal (Village Pump).

While patrolling recent changes we have to deal with lot of vandal activities and revert their edits. While looking on the comparison page of your edited version and last version, I noted that you had deleted first paragraph, so without looking on rest of article I thought it was done by some vandal, so I reverted the last old version.

Now after getting your message I again observed the comparison and found that instead of deleting the paragraph you have appended it in the last of the article, so I reverted it back to (your) last version.

Hope to see you soon on Hindi Wikipedia.-- Shrish ePandit  Talk  09:38, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Namaste Sada Vatsale has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unencyclopedic. Also not in english.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Shadowjams (talk) 09:28, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have explained the reasons on the article's talk page. Please check it.-- Shrish ePandit  Talk  10:38, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

October 2010[edit]

I noticed that you have posted comments in a language other than English. When on the English-language Wikipedia, please always use English, no matter to whom you address your comments. This is so that comments may be comprehensible to the community at large. If the use of another language is unavoidable, please provide a translation of the comments. For more details, see Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines. Thank you. Shadowjams (talk) 09:28, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

After getting your message, I thoroughly checked my contributions but could not find any comment in non-English language. The only non-English edits are inter-wiki links for Hindi wiki articles. Please point me to the comments you are talking about.-- Shrish ePandit  Talk  10:14, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You posted a poem entirely in another language, one that probably doesn't meet inclusion guidelines as is. It's right above this post. Shadowjams (talk) 10:19, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
In case of any article about a non-English language work, the text is always given in original language of the work and other regional language of that country. Examples are Saare Jahan Se Achcha whose original text is given in Urdu and also in Hindi, Jana Gana Mana whose original text is given in Bangla. So I don't think it is wrong to give this prayer's original text in Sanskrit and other Indian languages. But if regional languages other than original text language (Sanskrit) are unnecessary then they can be removed.-- Shrish ePandit  Talk  10:36, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

A tag has been placed on QuillPad, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. The article TBIL has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
