how do I add Donald "Butch" Rolle former Buffalo Bills player to the ex football players with Phd degrees. He earned his PhD degree in 2024 and pulished. How can I submit the information? --MBAMom01 (talk) 23:46, 30 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Cindy Scott

[edit]

Thank you so much for getting the Cindy Scott page approved so quickly. It is my first ever attempt at a complete Wiki article. It is a great gift that you are helping with this amazing resource.

You tagged the article with "Some of this article's listed sources may not be reliable." I looked at the source code, and I do not see that any specific sources have been flagged. Is there a way to find out what particularly may be problematic, or are you just making sure that I pondered it all enough?

I'm looking forward to getting some other unrepresented New Orleans affiliated artists on WIKI and I appreciate you wisdom and support. JazzWikiWriter (talk) 20:17, 1 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@JazzWikiWriter Discogs.com is an unreliable source, as the content on that site is user generated. In fairness, though, that appears to be the only source used in the article which is outright unreliable. I have replaced the banner tag with inline tags for the two Discogs citations in the article. Cheers, Mach61 10:30, 2 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you so much for your rapid and clear assistance. JazzWikiWriter (talk) 16:35, 2 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Miguel and the Living Dead - new article

[edit]

Hi,

I removed discogs as biographical sources. I removed source You Tube. In some places in the text, Discogs was used only as a source of records and bands in which the musicians played and play, and as a source of labels. The article in Polish Wikipedia has been available since 2007 https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miguel_and_the_Living_Dead MKutera74 (talk) 21:42, 17 December 2023 (UTC)

This is not a young band, because it was founded in 2001. He is quite recognizable in the areas of independent music with the aesthetics of gothic rock, post punk, death rock and psychobilly. There is no distortion of reality or facts about the band. This is objective information. In this matter, if there are any doubts, I advise you to consult your knowledge and competences with a good expert in the above-mentioned musical aesthetics. He will only confirm that this is not an amateur band, but one that already has a successful musical career. Please find out which bands MATLD played together at concerts and festivals, e.g. New Model Army, Sex Gang Children, The Damned, Clan Of Xymox, The Last Days Of Jesus, Combichrist, Deine Lakaien, Phantom Limbs, Lacrimosa, Nitzer Ebb, Samael, Theatre Of Tragedy, VNV Nation, The Legendary Pink Dots, Suicide Commando, Diary of Dreams, Front Line Assembly, She Past Away, XIII. Století, Lacuna Coil, Blutengel, Me And That Man, Section 25, Corpus Delicti. These are well-known bands in this music and music-related area. The concerts are supported by reliable sources in the article.

According to Wikipedia's rules, the team meets the requirements for publication.

1. Was the subject of many music articles (Polish and foreign) in professional magazines: Zillo, Orkus, Teraz Rock, Machina, Noise Magazine. This is confirmed by the sources in the article.

2. Is a niche band, so it certainly wasn't played on big music charts, but it was played on Polish Radio "Trójka" (for example, songs: Night of Terror and Bonehead) and Radiostacja. His songs are listed on last.fm (if that matters)

3. Has not yet been certified gold, but many bands on the wiki do not have such a status

4. Some concert reports are described on the Internet and in paper journals: Zillo, Orkus, Machina, Teraz Rock, Noise Magazine (mentioned above). The German-language Orkus is one of the most important and best music magazines of this aesthetic in the world.

5. Released two full-length albums, on two independent labels with several years of experience. The first German-Austrian, the second Polish. Several good bands released on Strobelight records: All Gone Dead, Frank the Baptist, Pink Turns Blue, The Last Days Of Jesus, Sleeping Children. The Noise Annoys label mainly releases albums by Polish bands, very popular on the Polish market, but also foreign ones (mainly punk rock aesthetics): TZN Xenna, One Milion Bulgarians, Apteka, Deuter, Variété, U.K. Subs. After several years on the music market, Strobelight Records ceased operations for unknown reasons. Noise Annoys has evolved into a record label and concert organizer [1][1]. Bands whose albums are released by Bat-Cave Productions are also presented: Dezerter, 1984, Wieże Fabryk, One Milion Bulgarians, Totem (see Polish wikipedia), Rozz Williams, Screaming Dead.

6. It is a band consisting of two ambitious, talented musicians who played in other famous bands: Pete - Devilish Presley, Klaus - TZN Xenna, One Million Bulgarians (see Polish wikipedia).

7. He is one of the important representatives of this aesthetic in Europe after 2000, and when it comes to Poland, there is no band apart from MATLD that would play post punk, goth rock, horror punk, deathrock, psychobilly at the same time (they write about it in Zillo, Orkus, Machina, Noise Magazine). Yes, there are several famous bands, but they play classic goth rock combined with gothic metal or dark wave, among others: Closterkeller, Deathcamp Project etc (see polish wikipedia).

8. Was nominated for an award at the Polish concert in Jarocin in 2006, but only won an honorable mention due to the fact that the lyrics were only in English (there is a source confirming this).

9. In total as above. It was certainly appreciated at the largest festival in Europe, Castle Party in Bolków. He played there twice. It's strange that there is no article about this festival on the English-language Wikipedia!

10. This team was not in the media. Only brief mentions of festivals on regional television and concerts in various countries. This will be difficult to verify.

11. It was thanks to Noise Annoys in Poland, the band was played on Polish radio "Trójka", "Radiostacja" and was the subject of music articles in Teraz Rock and Noise Magazine. Thanks to Strobelight Records, he gained attention mainly in German popular music magazines (Zillo and Orkus).

12. Miguel and the Living Dead only appeared on a few Polish radio programs Trójka and Radiostacja. He didn't appear on TV programs, apart from short interviews covering music festivals (in Polish and English).

I'm also adding information from discogs, because it is a very reliable source, especially when it comes to the line-up, connections, albums, etc. Please see Carcass, discogs is also quoted there. Many concert materials are available on You Tube, but I decided not to quote them.

I have practically all photocopies of paper music articles (Zillo, Orkus, Noise Magazine, Teraz Rock). I can send.

Please approach the article substantively in these musical areas, objectively and seriously. Please also appreciate my contribution. MKutera74 (talk) 17:05, 5 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@MKutera74 You appear to have applied every single criterion at WP:NBAND to the draft subject, which is unnecessary; the vast majority of bands with Wikipedia articles only meet the first criterion (has sources discussing them). Meeting multiple criterions is not the common standard.
Please wait for another reviewer to approve or decline the draft, since I don't do re-reviews on demand. I see you have worked on the draft since I declined it, which is promising. Mach61 12:09, 7 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Iamzlatkom (23:10, 19 June 2024)

[edit]

Hi Mach61, my name is Zlatko Mulaibrahimovic and I would like to write a brand new article for publication on Wikipedia. I’ve studied and finished Political Science and Mass Communication for my undergraduate degrees. My master’s degree an IMBA (International Master of Business Administration) I completed in 2017 the major being International Business and specialization in Social Media Marketing. I wrote a children’s book which is available for purchase online at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Walmart and a few other places. The title of that book is Adventures of TokijoCat a Cat Writer by Zlatko Mulaibrahimovic. I would like your guidance in what would be the best topic of my first Wikipedia article and any tips and trick you can offer as a mentor to me. All the best and hope to hear from you soon.

Sincerely, Zlatko Mulaibrahimovic BA, IMBA, TEFL/TESOL, EUROLTA/NLP Chairman, CEO and Founder Treasure Media Publishing LLC --Iamzlatkom (talk) 23:10, 19 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Iamzlatkom Hi, Zlatko. For general advice on how to start writing on Wikipedia, see Help:Your first article. On the specific question of picking a topic, I have the following advice:
  1. Make sure that the subject meets our inclusion requirements, which are summarized at WP:42. In short, we require that article subjects have been covered in length by trustworthy sources (news websites, documentaries etc.) that are independent of them. If, after looking for such sources, you cannot find them, you will have to give up on writing an article about that subject, because it will never be accepted.
  2. Find a subject you are passionate and know a lot about about. You'll be more confident in your writing that way
  3. Please do not write an article about yourself, or an entity you have a conflict of interest with. Those are almost never accepted.
Mach61 01:39, 20 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Very well and straightforwardly said. Thank your instructions and I will make sure to follow your advice. Hope to talk soon mentor Mach61. Iamzlatkom (talk) 03:14, 20 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Question from CalebMasonAuthor (12:25, 22 June 2024)

[edit]

Hi and nice to meet you. I, too, am a jazz lover and play jazz piano. My son Will Mason (Will Mason Music) is a well-known composer and music professor at Wheaton College. His compositions are pretty far out there but he has been well reviewed for his avant garde music. Take care and as I am new I will probably need some help. --CalebMasonAuthor (talk) 12:25, 22 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@CalebMasonAuthor. Please note that Wikipedia officially discourages creating articles if you have a conflict of interest (in this case, familial ties) with the subject of the article. However, if you are to do so anyways I would recommend that you read Help:Your first article for advice. As someone with a conflict of interest, you will have to submit the article using the WP:Articles for creation process. Mach61 22:10, 22 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Joel Ross (vibraphonist)

[edit]

On 7 July 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Joel Ross (vibraphonist), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that professional vibraphonist Joel Ross has called the vibraphone his "least favorite instrument"? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Joel Ross (vibraphonist). You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Joel Ross (vibraphonist)), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

@Jesuspaul502, apologies for the late response. For the most part, it is usually possible for any user, even a very new one, to make a positive contribution to any given page. Question from Frtgreenhills (18:44, 15 August 2024)

[edit]

Hi, I do not necessarily want to edit an article myself, but I believe more context and information needs to be added to in a wiki page I viewed recently. I read a completely whitewashed page about an individual I have learned more info about over time that failed to present who this person was. How can more context be added to this page of this individual? To provide readers like myself more information about this person. --Frtgreenhills (talk) 18:44, 15 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Frtgreenhills Could you tell me what specific page it is you believe needs more information? Anyhow, if you do not wish to edit an article yourself, you can add a section the talk page of that article with your complaint. Seeing as you claim this page to be completely whitewashed, a post on the neutral point of view/noticeboard may also be justified. Do note that all infortmation on Wikipedia must be backed up with reliable sources, so make sure to provide them in the discussion. Cheers, Mach61 19:01, 15 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Question regarding article state

[edit]

Dear Mach61,

Thank you so much for your contribution to Photochemical action plots! You flagged that additional references were missing in the "Experimental Section", A number of citations to scientific journals have been added. It would be greatly appreciated of you could have another look at the article if any additional citations would benefit the article. Thank you so much for your help! Staugingersdisciple (talk) 19:55, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Staugingersdisciple
Do the content of the citations verify all the statements in that section, or all but a few (which can be dealt with using individual {{citation needed}} tags)? If yes, remove the banner flag. I don't feel comftorable looking at the citations myself, since I'm not familiar with any hard sciences; when I added the tag, I just knew when I added the tag that the one citation in that section probably wasn't sufficient.
P.S. as a general rule you shouldn't ask for permission to remove maintenance tags; the person who placed them there may no longer be active and regardless, there are a lot of tags that should have never been added in the first place. Cheers, Mach61 20:44, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much for the clarification and thank you again so much for raising this in the first place. The sections has been significantly improved with the additional citations! Cheers, Staugingersdisciple Staugingersdisciple (talk) 02:37, 3 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

History

[edit]

Jordan Schmidt is a Country music songwriter. While songwriting continues to be his main priority, he also takes part in music production, plays guitar, and contributes as a backup singer on recordings. Prior to moving to Nashville, he maintained his own studio in Minneapolis and worked as a audio and mixing engineer. After he moved to TN in 2015, he started collaborating with band members of Florida Georgia Line. They suggested he focus all his energy on songwriting. After gaining recognition as a songwriter in Nashville, TN, a music fan created the Jordan Schmidt main space article in 2016.

At first, Jordan Schmidt's main space article contained all relevant details and informational tables on the main page without looking cluttered. There were preliminary discussions (see below ↓) about moving the discography section to a separate page. The decision was made to keep it on the main Jordan Schmidt page due to the lack of substantial content in the other sections.

Support split - The list of works by Jordan Schmidt takes up close to one half of the page, and should be split to a new article entitled Jordan Schmidt production discography. Thoughts? --Jax 0677 (talk) 17:31, 21 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose No need to split as it would pretty much just leave a stub article for the artist. When that is expanded a split would be warranted. --StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 01:49, 22 April 2016 (UTC)

My contributions

[edit]

In early 2024, I began editing the article about Jordan Schmidt. Even though he is just thirty-five, Jordan Schmidt has already written over four hundred songs. I expanded Jordan Schmidt's main page by using established patterns from Jason Aldean and Keith Urban's main space articles.

When I noticed his current main page discography section had reached the equivalent of twenty PDF pages, I moved it to a separate discography page in early 2024. Once again, I planned to use boilerplates from the Aldean and Urban discography pages to pattern the Schmidt discography page.

Besides revising existing pages and add new pages (see Schmidt family of pages), I focused on optimizing the new discography page. I decided to narrow the listing criteria in order to streamline the discography page. I only included songs that have charted well in the US, had millions of Spotify hits, RIAA statistics, etc etc. Then, while continuing the work on the discography page, the curtain came down.

COI declared

[edit]

The discography page was 70% complete when an Australian editor declared I had a COI problem. Her observation was based on my friendship with Jordan Schmidt's father. She decided I could no longer work on any of the pages because I did not have a "Neutral point of view," and my style of writing was "outrageuously promotional/peacock (her spelling). After two months of working on the pages, I had to stop in July 2024.

She made substantial revisions to the main article, discography, and awards pages. One of her edits involved removing Schmidt's "List of awards and nominations received by Jordan Schmidt." She unlinked the awards page from his main page because the editor labeled the page as:

This is a list of awards and nominations; the repetition of certifications (which are already included prominently in the main article) here is puffery.

Of course, that was not true. Much of the text on the main page was removed by the same editor including references to Schmidt's past professions as a sound engineer - again, citing "puffery."

Discography page

[edit]

At present, the discography page is divided into five separate sections. Further explanation is needed to clarify the contents of each section. It should be noted, collaborative efforts are now the norm in songwriting and production, Thus the tables increase in size when listing credits.

Jordan Schmidt Discography Page
Years Header Title Type of Work Details
2015 - 2024 Albums Prod & Wrote Each item needs rank according to various US charts
2003 - 2024 Jamestown Story Audio & Mixed Can be deleted
2006 - 2015 Alternative Audio & Mixed Can be deleted
2020 – 2016 Songs Prod & Wrote Each item needs rank according to various US charts
2024 – 2021 Songs Prod & Wrote Need complete make over & ea item needs rank according to various US charts

Bottom line

[edit]

The discography page to this date has remained unfinished.

You inquired about the Schmidt discography page, citing it for deletion, because you thought the listing was comprised of items Jordan Schmidt had only performed sound engineering. As you can see from the paragraphs above, this is not case. You set a October deadline to answer.

You then created a new page redirecting all Jordan Schmidt discography requests back to the main article discography section. This section on the main page displays only RIAA links. These RIAA links were eventually going to be incorporated into individual song items listed on the discography page. As it stands now, does not make much sense.

In my opinion, you should restore the Schmidt discography page, relink it to the main page. If you still have heartburn because of the table listings of "Jamestown Story" (Incidentally Jordan Schmidt's brother Dane) and his "Alternative" music contributions - delete them. Another alternative is - you can give me permission and I will delete the two questionable tables

If you still object to rolling-back your changes, could we place this for a vote by the Wikipedia community. Please let me know what you think.

@Mtjannetta Sorry for the two-day response delay (but also if you shortened your message I probably would have replied faster)
Re: You set a October deadline to answer, I didn't, if you're talking about the proposed deletion tag; anyone can remove such a tag without discussion, even the article creator, which would have prevented deletion
Re deletion and redirection in general: Look, the list had a lot of problems beyond just including records engineered (I never said the list only included that). A non exhaustive list of problems:
  1. Inconsistencies in the tables: why are songs written and/or produced included in the 2016-2020 section but not the 2021-2024 section? Why doesn't the 2006-2015 section note any specifics beyond the artist and year at all? I know you said the list was "unfinished", but for a page made up of tables you could and should have at least included all the relevant columns in all sections from the start and left some cells empty.
  2. Irrelevant details: Spotify streams shouldn't be included at all; it's one streaming service out of many, and Wikipedia content should be relevant long-term, so constantly fluxuating details like streaming numbers should be omitted.
  3. Weird sectioning: Why were these specific year ranges chosen? Other production discographies either give every year an L2 heading (e.g. Q-Tip production discography or doesn't section by time at all (e.g. Glen Ballard production discography).
It is, of course, your right to undo my unilateral redirection, but if you do so I will probably start a discussion to have it re-redirected for the above reasons. Mach61 20:14, 4 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Kevin kerrison (18:51, 5 October 2024)

[edit]

Hello Sir, I hope you're doing well.

I would like to publish an article that I have already written, and it's currently available on my user page. Could you please guide me on whether the article is good to go and if it has been published or not?

Thank you. --Kevin kerrison (talk) 18:51, 5 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Kevin kerrison The article has not been published if it is still in your user space. You should copy the text {{subst:Submit}} and paste it at the very top of the page; this will enter the page into the Articles for Creation system, where a reviewer will decide whether the article should be published as an encyclopedia article or not. If you have any problems doing this, reply to me, and I'll do it myself. Mach61 03:49, 6 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you so much for your guidance; it's been very informative for me. However, I'm having trouble getting the article live. Could you please do this on my behalf? Here's the link for your reference: User:Kevin kerrison
Also, I have one concern—can you explain why, if the article is live, my name still appears at the top? Shouldn't the article title be displayed there instead? Is my article good for submission? Kevin kerrison (talk) 19:50, 6 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Kevin kerrison
The current material at the page is not a live article. It is your user page, which means that your username (Kevin kerrison) is its actual title. You can tell it is a user page because of the User: prefix at the beginning of the title. Do note that all pages submitted to the Articles for Creation system are also not live articles.
To avoid any titling issues, among others, we recommend all submissions use the specially designated Draft: prefix. Since you showed concern about the title, I had planned to retitle the page "Draft:Keith L. Craig", but as it turns out, someone else already created a page at that title, and your user page has almost exactly the same text as what's on that page, meaning that you must have copied it. May you explain why? Mach61 03:06, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Fisher Investments

[edit]

Hi Mach61, I just posted an edit request for Fisher Investments and noticed the maintenance tags. I see that you did some cleanup on the page after adding the tags and was wondering if you still think they are relevant or are ready to be removed. If there are improvements I can make to the article to enable their removal, please let me know and I will gladly work on it. Thank you very much, Nicole for Fisher (talk) 14:45, 8 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Nicole for Fisher I have fulfilled your edit request and remove the tags related to the article lacking a neutral point of view, as the article has been improved since they were added. The {{Primary}} tag is still relevant and kept. Mach61 14:06, 9 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

DRV talk

[edit]

Not sure I fully agree but happy to play it safe here and defer to your position. Are you OK if I blank the section to undo any potential canvassing concerns? Striking alone wouldn't really remove the impact of potential canvassing as suggested. Given you've commented, don't want to blank your comment without checking. Thanks for pulling me up on it. How to upload picture --Dr. Muhammad Hairuddin Razak (talk) 08:46, 26 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Dr. Muhammad Hairuddin Razak You may use the WP:File upload wizard to do so, although the specifics depend on what specific image you would like to upload, and for what purpose. Mach61 13:07, 26 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Dr. Muhammad Hairuddin Razak You can also upload directly to [commons.wikimedia.org Wikimedia Commons,] though again, the specifics will depend on the image you want to upload and why. I dream of horses (Hoofprints) (Neigh at me) 13:18, 26 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

BLP - Carl Thoma

[edit]

Hi Mach61, I have posted an article draft for Carl Thoma, a businessman who supports several programs at Oklahoma State University. I noticed that you recently made a small change on the OSU page, and that you review article submissions on Wikipedia. I would greatly appreciate your feedback on my article. If you think it's ready for Wikipedia, would you mind moving it to main space or submitting it to WP:AfC? Thanks, JBarTB (talk) 16:29, 28 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@JBarTB If you looked at my /Editnotice, you'd know I don't do article reviews on request. Please submit the draft as-is by placing the text {{subst:submit}} at the top of the page, and wait in the AfC queue with everyone else. Mach61 16:41, 28 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Orphan tag

[edit]

WP:AWB automatically places that tag itself as one of its automatic "general fixes" if it determines that a page is an orphan, even if that has nothing to do with the edit I'm actually trying to apply on purpose (which was about the unnecessary duplicate category). And I don't have any way to determine from within AWB whether its general fix tags are correct or incorrect — it's a tool for performing edits, not a tool for evaluating or assessing content — so I had absolutely no way to know that AWB was placing a tag that didn't belong there.

So if it's wrong, then obviously you're free to just remove it, and you're also more than welcome to go to Wikipedia talk:AWB and request that the AWB programmers add a "don't tag as orphan if the page is tagged as a set index" exception, but it's not a thing I deserve any criticism for, because AWB did that all by itself and I had absolutely no way to know that it was making a mistake. Question from Ivygood60 on 2005 Sydney Roosters season (19:37, 31 October 2024)

[edit]

Hi. Do I use footnotes only for references or is APA acceptable. --Ivygood60 (talk) 19:37, 31 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Ivygood60 I assume by "APA" you are referring to APA style § Reference list. The answer is yes, APA (and all other established citation styles) may be used, so long as they are used consistently, and that general references in lieu of footnotes can be used. Question from Ivygood60 on User:Ivygood60 (10:43, 1 November 2024)

[edit]

Hi. Have you looked at my article? Do you think the connections to my topic are made clear? --Ivygood60 (talk) 10:43, 1 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Ivygood60 @Ivygood60 By "article", I assume you are talking about the content at the page User:Ivygood60, which is in fact a draft on your user page and not an actual article. Drafts can be moved to become articles, but unfortunately I believe that if that were to happen here, said article would be deleted pretty quickly, as it contravenes fundamental requirements all articles must follow. Specifically, our no original research policy prohibits articles from drawing conclusions not explicitly described in sources, as is the case with the concept of "Intelligence Literacy", which appears to have been entirely your invention. Cheers, Mach61 19:30, 1 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You sound so happy about what you are saying. Ivygood60 (talk) 23:58, 1 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Ivygood60 I'm very sorry if I come off as rude. Please note that it is very common for someone's very first attempt at making an article not to pan out. Everyone makes mistakes at first. Mach61 07:48, 2 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Sebastian Cosmor (09:58, 3 November 2024)

[edit]

Hello Mach61 :) how are you? I need your help. How I can add my company in Wikipedia? Thanks --Sebastian Cosmor (talk) 09:58, 3 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Sebastian Cosmor It is strongly recommended people don't try to give their companies a Wikipedia page, and almost all attempts to do so fail. If you want to try anyways, follow the steps laid out at Wp:Conflict of interest § Paid editing. The disclosure requirement in particular is of highest importance, and failure to comply with it may lead to your account being blocked from editing. Cheers, Mach61 14:26, 3 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
For example my competitori has wikipedia page. PrettyLittleThing. Being in wikipedia it is offering a big trust for our Brand. Sebastian Cosmor (talk) 07:37, 6 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Sebastian Cosmor Wikipedia does not engage in advertising or promotion, and doesn't allow articles to exist in order to create brand trust. An article for your company may be created if it meets our inclusion criteria for businesses, as PrettyLittleThing does. May I ask which company you wish to add to Wikipedia? Mach61 15:15, 6 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The website is www.bogas.ro Sebastian Cosmor (talk) 15:30, 6 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Sebastian Cosmor Based on my research, it appears that this company does not meet the criteria to have an article, specifically our requirement for evidence that the organization or product has attracted the notice of reliable sources unrelated to the organization or product. (see WP:Notability (companies)). I really don't think an article can be created for this company at this time, and you should stop trying to do so. Mach61 17:56, 6 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Ivygood60 (16:53, 6 November 2024)

[edit]

Hi. Can you take a look at my article and tell me if my focus is in line with Wikipedia? Thanks for a response. --Ivygood60 (talk) 16:53, 6 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Ivygood60 Hi Ivygood60, I've seen you've updated the draft since you last contacted me. Unfortunately, my the complains I had last time still apply. The draft includes original conclusions that don't appear to be directly verified in the cited sources, and it is written like a personal essay, not an encyclopedia article.
