Augusta, Maine Mayor August 2014[edit]

Mayor William R. Stokes resigned due to being made a judge by the Governor; the City Council has chosen Mark O'Brien as an interim mayor until the November election to choose someone to fill the remainder of Stokes' term. A source for this is here but I'm not sure how to indicate that in this template since I don't see any other citations here. Any assistance is appreciated. 331dot (talk) 20:28, 8 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Honolulu's Mayor Rick Blangiardi[edit]

Mayor Rick Blangiardi of Honolulu was elected as an independent and isn't a registered Republican, at least according to his Wikipedia page. Should he be changed here? R/I does not seem accurate. ~ Quacks Like a Duck (talk) 20:29, 16 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The Honolulu mayoral election is non-partisan. I've changed the party abbreviation to '(I)'. —ADavidB 22:54, 16 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
