Nice to e-meet you. As you will see from my personal page, I am the Executive Assistant to the CEO at Lekela, a renewable power generation company operating in Africa. I’ve been appointed the in-house Wikipedian in residence to help ensure that information about Lekela is factual, fair, and balanced, in line with Wikipedia standards and guidelines.

I have noticed that you appear to be interested in energy/renewables-related pages such as Enel Green Power and are a member of Wikipedia's Energy Portal.

As someone interested in Africa and energy, Lekela has many wind projects in Africa that aren’t mentioned on Wikipedia but that could be captured on a company-focused page. I obviously cannot set up this page as that would break the Wikipedia rules, but do let me know if you would be interested in doing this.

@Jas at Lekela:Hi, Jas. I have apology not answering before, but I am not very active in Wikipedia any more. To create an article about Lekela, the company has to be notable per WP:NCORP and there should be significant coverage by reliable sources. In the case of Lekela it seems to fulfilled, so the creation of this article is justified. As I don't have enough time to create this article myself, I can advice the following things how to proceed with it:

• You can add your request to WP:Requested articles.
• You can create article yourself through WP:AFC process. It is true that as connected contributor you are not encourage for direct editing, but in the AFC process all articles reviewed before moved to the main space. But of course, please be sure to declare your connection. Please see also WP:Article wizard.
• You can notify relevant Wikiprojects such as WP:Africa, WP:Companies and WP:Energy by adding your request at the projects' talk pages.
• I also think that some other editors like user:Fsmatovu can help you.

I really can't understand why you want to delete that article? Being defunct is not a criteria for deletion. Essar Group was a notable group of companies and as such it deserves its own article. My apologies for the misunderstanding caused earlier in our discussion. Following are the reasons why I want to have the Essar Steel page deleted:

1. Essar Steel has been acquired by ArcelorMittal and Nippon Steel. It is now called ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India. A Wikipedia page for the same is being created.

2. I wanted to update the existing Essar Steel Wikipedia page, but since I do not have admin access to the page, hence I am unable to update the page name.

3. The existing Essar Steel information will be updated on the new AM/NS India page. So no information will be lost, it will be updated on the new page.

Since there is a lot to update and I cannot make edits to the historical Essar Steel page, My best possible way forward is to create a new AM/NS India Wikipedia Page. Please be assured that this is not for corporate promotion, this action is being undertaken to avoid any confusion about the two.
