Liam Joseph Conlon[1] is a British politician. A member of the Labour party, Conlon has served as the member of parliament for Beckenham and Penge since July 2024.[2] He is also chairperson of the Labour Party Irish Society.[3]

Personal life[edit]

Conlon is the son of former senior civil servant Sue Gray who currently serves as Downing Street Chief of Staff under Sir Keir Starmer.[4] He had a hip repalcement at the age of 17 due to an accident at the age of 13 where he fracture his hip, he was initially left unable to walk for years. As a result of this he is one of the few disabled MPs and drives an adapted car.[5]
